He's been deservedly ripped alot as a Hawk, but one guy who has really improved his game this season is Sopel. He's been downright serviceable of late, which has been big given the recent injuries on D.

Hawks fans clap and cheer during the anthemn; they don't boo or hiss. The former = praise; The latter = disprespect. The fact that service members and veterans ("the men and women who fought valiantly to make this country what it is today") take part in this tradition is the ultimate counterpoint to this turd. This guy says it "makes his skin crawl?" Well I find it so stirring that mine gets goose flesh every time. I defy anyone to call this disrespectful or unpatriotic after watching this clip from the '91 All-Star game, at the start of the first Gulf War.

At upwards of $500, they are usually custom altered and made of finer materials with higher thread counts, etc. I am not that familiar with higher end jeans, but I thought all denim was pretty much made from the same cotton. Besides, I can usually tell a "cheap suit" from the frontal view, without having to check out somebody's ass.

There should be a law against the sale of jeans in excess of $35/pair, which is what I pay for Levi's on sale. I like nice clothes and the occasional nice label (and I'm really not as cheap as I probably sound), but I just can't rationalize paying more than that for different stitching on the back pockets. Personally, I've never been able to discern any other difference in the more expensive pairs. Of course, I am old and fairly crotchety.
