A big reason myself and so many fellow Sox fans I know are cheering on the embarrassment of this season is their attitude towards the fans. They truly think we are all morons. The Blackhawks came right out and told fans they were rebuilding, it would be tough, it would take time, and you can respect that, even if the team is terrible. The White Sox CONSISTENTLY feed their fanbase bullshit, and expect us to believe it. They don't try in good faith to be the best team they can, and then the team calls out the fans for not going to games and giving them money. I'm sick and tired of this piece of s%*# owner, his lies, his nepotism, his disdain for the fanbase, and his penny wise pound foolish approach to ownership. Yep. White Sox are in danger of losing entire generations of fans by being a total embarrassment. There's absolutely no reason to be a Sox fan over a Cubs fan right now. Any young kid growing up liking baseball is going to choose the Cubs.

When apathy and the weight of losing piles on, it can absolutely get worse. Coaches that say things like "eventually it's going to have to turn around" are coaches that have ZERO answers.
