  1. What have you seen with this club, that would give you ANY indication that this medical/training staff is competent in the least? I saw all I needed to see when Luis Robert was swinging with one fucking arm last season... This organization is a joke top to bottom. There's absolutely no reason to believe the training and medical staff are the exception to this.
  2. The Bummer talk just blows my mind. From my perspective, he has ALWAYS fucking sucked. I have no idea why anyone would ever think he was worth a s%*#. I've quite literally despised him from the moment I saw him pitch. I just don't understand what anyone sees in him. Guy fucking sucks.
  3. Hard to tell sometimes. I don't pay much attention to individual poster history. But you got some good rants out of it. Lol
  4. He's the one responsible for the overall approach. The team identity. He's the one responsible for holding players accountable. Establishing the culture and work ethic. Putting players in the best position to succeed. I call bullshit. He's a terrible manager, and I bet he's out of managing in the MLB as soon as he's fired by the Sox. Edit: Asking a White Sox fan to "be a bit more patient" is fucking hilarious. We have been patient with this disgraceful organization for almost 20 years. They can shove patience up their ass.
  5. If only there was a department within the organization that handled this for players... Lmao. Like, he has back problems. He should have a training and medical staff telling him the best way to prepare and deal with that. Not "figuring it out" on his own. Christ.
  6. He's a symptom of the disease. I don't give a s%*# that he's a first year manager. He was hired to manage a supposed CONTENDER. I also don't give a s%*# that he might figure it out in a few seasons. It's just more prototypical White Sox BULLSHIT. He never should have been hired. You also don't need a few seasons to see he has no leadership ability, and none of the players respect him. NOTHING has changed for the positive with this team since he was hired. He has only gotten worse. I'm glad Detroit is embarrassing them. They deserve it.
  7. What the f*** is this nonsense? The White Sox have the worst minor league system in the MLB, and their fundamentals absolutely suck. This mother fucker is senile.
  8. Famous last words. I mean, that's what we thought about TLR...and then they hired Grifol.
  9. I'm done until JR is gone. I'm not alone. An empty stadium is the only thing that is going to even register on their radar. Don't attend games and don't spend a dime on the organization.
  10. Well, there's pretty much nothing out there as far as official reporting is concerned. I was going off of the clip I saw. Gun shots are loud. Especially in a space like that. You would have thought people would have reacted very, very differently if a gun went off 20 feet away from them. People didn't even notice, it seems. All I can think is perhaps the dumb ass had the muzzle against her leg, and her leg muffled the gunshot drastically. Especially if she was fat. Either way, if someone snuck a gun in like that, the White Sox should be in deep s%*#. There's nothing this organization does well. Not even security...
  11. It's amazing to me that Colas has been doing this forever, and it has not been corrected at any level. This org sucks. Please don't trade Robert. Only reason to watch this team.
  12. None of that makes any sense. How did nobody hear the gunshot? How did someone pickup a fairly immaculate looking bullet after? How do you hide a fucking gun under a fat roll and walk all that way with it, without it falling out? The gun went off right in the seats with those people around, and nobody heard the gun shot, or saw her gun? Come on.
  13. I am not sure I have read a thread on any forum, ever, that displays as much ignorance towards as many topics, as I've seen in this thread. Fucking bravo Soxtalk. Bravo. Chicago is not a dangerous city for 99% of the population. Period. And nobody who has actually traveled around this country would even remotely consider Chicago "unsafe". Especially compared to rural America... Try driving through bumfuck Alabama, Northern Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, and come back and talk to me. When I broke down in "the hood", I had folks come out of their "crackhouses" offering to help me out... When that happened in rural Alabama, I had fucking meth heads carrying shotguns, trying to extort me for assistance in changing a fucking tire, because we happened to have a flat in their shithole town. f*** right off with the "Democrat run cities are cesspools of violence" s%*#, because nobody who actually leaves their safety bubble in the suburbs, believes it. P.S. Six of the top ten most likely to be murdered cities in this country, are in Missouri, Ohio, and Louisiana. Buy a clue.
  14. Just proves my point. Has done nothing for their on-field performance. The Yankees blow.
  15. Lol. Not the standards a professional sports team needs... Has nothing to do with on-field performance.
  16. It is absolutely management's fault, as well. Did you see how they stretch and warmup for the game?? No structure. No accountability. And a dogshit training and conditioning staff.
  17. Grifol has to be intentionally tanking, right?? Lmao. Also, I realize it's really hot and humid out there, but JUST HYDRATE. Drink pedialyte. Drink Gatorade. Drink water. This team is a disaster in every aspect.
  18. Well, unfortunately, a lot of the people at the top nowadays are there because of generational wealth, and nepotism. Rich get richer.
  19. It always blows my mind that people don't believe it's possible to be stupid and rich at the same time. Despite all the evidence to the contrary... Being really successful at one specific thing doesn't mean you're smarter than everyone else. It doesn't even mean you're smart. It's one of the biggest logical fallacies there is. Reinsdorf made his fortune off of exploiting tax loopholes in real estate. He knew tax law, and was in the right place at the right time when it came to Frank Lyon Co. vs. United States. He got some investors to buy into his idea of tax shelters, and got rich off of it. Nothing he has said or done outside of this specific thing tells me that he's a smart man. In fact, I think his money has given him delusions about how smart he is, and handicapped him the entire duration of his sports ownership. This is a guy who thought he was the reason the Bulls won all those championships... and it could be replicated without the greatest player of all time. Come on.
