Who would you actually pay to watch hit?
Paulie4Pres replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
How the f*** is Robert not on this list? Pretty much the only guy I would even consider off of this roster of corpses. -
Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago

It's actually pretty clear what the biggest driver is in these claims. -

It's hopeless. I, and many other Sox fans, just don't give a s%*# anymore. Keep them, trade them, blow it all up, it doesn't matter. f*** this organization. -

Trading them also makes no sense. This management is incompetent. Trading guys won't make a damn bit of difference. -

The vitriol people have towards specific players in this organization is so misplaced. I'd bet all of these guys go elsewhere, and reach their potential, and never have issues. This organization ruins players. It's just the reality of the situation.- 221 replies

Where's the hyperbole? As far as I can tell, this is 100% accurate.

Didn't watch the game at all. Watching the post-game. WHAT THE f*** IS THIS TEAM DOING AT THE PLATE?? Yes, Lynn sucks. But this team is fucking CLUELESS at the plate. The Robert at bats had to be the worst at bats I have ever seen. Unbelievable. Looked like a fucking little leaguer.
-
Fixed. f*** this team.

If there was ever a doubt that this team was fucking dead, this should put those doubts to rest. RIP Chicago White Sox. Better luck in 2027.

Hahn has to be gone after that botched rundown
Paulie4Pres replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Not a lot of people going to argue that Hahn doesn't need to be gone, but making a thread pointing to a SINGLE PLAY as the reason? Lol. -
Does his fastball just have absolutely no movement whatsoever?

Kopech should pitch in the next homerun derby....

5/5 Sox @ Reds 5:40PM CT - Apple TV+
Paulie4Pres replied to DoUEvenShift's topic in 2023 Season in Review
Imagine these two teams being on a subscription streaming service. Might be the least watched game of the entire season. Even if you didn't have to sign up for a subscription to watch this game, there's zero chance I would put in the effort to watch... Just lol -
The things he says out loud are bad enough. I can only imagine what he's like behind closed doors. It has nothing to do with him being rich and powerful, and everything to do with his behavior as an owner. IMO, he has avoided major controversy thus far because he literally BUYS loyalty by giving people jobs for life.
-
I think you're naive to believe he's not just as bad. None of the truly terrible stuff will come out until he's dead. It never does with super rich owners like this. A lot of people that "know where the bodies are buried", so to speak, are too afraid of the repercussions to say anything while he's alive. The stories we are going to hear will shock people, I'm sure.

It will be absolutely glorious when this man dies, and, just like Bill Wirtz, he gets booed relentlessly when the White Sox "honor" him. I honestly might even buy tickets to be at that game and boo him. What a piece of s%*#. Worst owner in sports.
-
Lol. That's a hard no.
-
Wake me up when this asshole dies. That's really the only update from JR I give a s%*# about, because we know he's not selling.
-
You're not fooling anyone, Jerry.

Robert benched mid game for not hustling and/or tweaked hammy
Paulie4Pres replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
This is the culture the White Sox have built. I don't blame Robert even half as much as I blame this dogshit organization. Imagine a player, YOUR STAR PLAYER, having so little interaction with the SECOND IN COMMAND, that he doesn't even know his fucking name? How is that even possible on a professional sports team?? The fact that he didn't tell the coaches about his hamstring tells me everything I need to know. There is ZERO TRUST between players and management/coaching. And management is fucking clueless. Asleep at the wheel. You just bench the guy, without even having a conversation with him, to see if he's feeling OK??? I have more rapport and connection with the HIGH SCHOOL KIDS I coach. The White Sox are a fucking disgrace.
