  1. Who says they can't?? How can Lopez only have 11 pitches in him? It's fucking absurd.
  2. The bullpen management in this game is just fucking LOL. Why is Lambert being used in the 7th? Why not Graveman? Why not Lopez? Why not extend Lopez an extra inning after he made quick work of them? What are we even doing here? I don't fucking understand anything about this clownshoes ass fucking organization and their decision making. Lopez threw ELEVEN FUCKING PITCHES. He can't go another inning? What the f***? HENDRIKS THREW FIFTEEN! How the f*** can you not extend these guys, in the biggest game of the season? A true must win game.... Fucking little league management from the top down. This organization really doesn't deserve fans. We are all schmucks.
  3. I'm just trying to understand why Lopez has not gone more than an inning all season. Was this not a guy that at one point was being considered as a starting pitcher??? He can't throw more than 15 pitches?
  4. White Sox are so fucking lucky. He was so safe.
  5. Two walks cross the plate. Because of course they do.
  6. It's amazing how much money the White Sox spent on a TERRIBLE fucking bullpen.
  7. Lambert and then Bummer? Not even fucking trying to win this game, or what?
  8. Why the f*** bring Lambert in there?? I just don't understand it. How can nobody better be available??? This team is fucking clownshoes.
  9. 71 RBIs. His lowest pace.....ever. He is going to decline very soon(if he isn't already). The only question is...when. Vaughn will put up 3-4 WAR as the full-time 1B within the next season or two. I have no doubts about this Again, it's time to move on. And I'm a huge Abreu fan.
  10. Never make definitive statements in sports. Especially not a season ahead of time.
  11. Yes he is. But age catches up to everyone. His numbers this season speak for themselves. Specifically RISP and bases loaded. He's been bad.
  12. He's hitting .255 with RISP this season. Substantially below his average. He's 0 for 11 with the bases loaded. He's been terrible at driving in runs this season. Completely un-clutch.
  13. He's been as unclutch as a hitter can really be this season. I think he's 0 for the season with the bases loaded... His power also appears to be gone. Unfortunately, I think it's time to move on. The roster just can't accommodate him.
  14. Eloy is invaluable to this offense. You simply cannot trade him, because you can't replace that bat.... The value coming back won't be even remotely close to what the Sox would give up. He's as natural a power hitter as there exists in the MLB today. He plays 150 games and he's hitting 35-45 every season.
  15. Those are also fucking absurd. They are typically instituted by geriatric owners, too. Again, it's 2022. Not 1950. Times change.
  16. Leaving Cueto in to die in such a crucial game is inept management. Especially with an off day tomorrow. Keep the fucking game close and give the offense a chance. Team might have more energy under Cairo, but he's a fucking idiot too.
  17. Why is Moncada not playing? Why are we stuck with Harrison or Garica at third, to begin with? What the f***?
  18. Hating on a player because he doesn't conform to the prototypical white-boy baseball player from the 1950's always strikes me as absurd. People are different. People have different cultures. People have different styles, and tastes. Who gives a flying f*** if he wears a chain and tilts his hat? He's paid to hit the ball, not conform to some boring ass preconceived notion of what a baseball player should look like. Personality is a good thing.
  19. He's a zombie. He can barely stay awake in the dugout. It's obvious the team has responded to a skipper who is actively involved in the game, excited, and relatable. Big bonus that he doesn't fall asleep in the dugout.
  20. I don't care about next season right now, but he's been low-key the team's MVP the last 15-20 games. 20 RBIs in 21 games is bonkers. Hopefully he can carry that through the rest of the season, and...maybe even the playoffs.
  21. I agree 100%. There's absolutely no reason for Romy to not be a full-time player. And you have to find some way to keep Elvis in the lineup. He's just been...fantastic. It's a tough spot to be in, because, ideally, you want all three of them in the lineup. I just have absolutely no idea how to go about it.
  22. It was an absolutely ridiculous 9th, but I think we all saw why Oakland is the worst team in baseball. The Sox doing that against Puk was pretty impressive. He's been really good this season. Gotta get the next two, ideally. There's really no room for error the rest of the season.
