  1. Imagine supporting this clown. The White Sox bunt more than most teams in the NL, who have a guaranteed out in their lineup most days. It's indefensible.
  2. Lock this thread up. Yes, let's look at this small sample size, instead of what he's done the last few years. Makes sense.?
  3. He's using illegal substances. The Sox should be able to call it out and have the umpire look at it. It's nonsense.
  4. Is it just me, or has Abreu been really unclutch lately? Seems like he has had a TON of opportunities in big situations to drive in runs, and failed.
  5. He's been a bad manager thus far. Arguing against that is showing your IQ level.
  6. Didn't catch most of this game. Just watched the highlights and Bummer's save. Gutsy win for sure. But, why the hell is Lamb batting 2nd with how Madrigal has been hitting?
  7. Quite literally nobody is doing that. I'm not even defending him. I'm calling you out for your bullshit and your stupidity. But please, continue to embarrass yourself.
  8. Stop spouting bullshit. He's hitting .233 in May, so it's statistically impossible for him to be "in the 100s now" if he hit .300 in April.(His average would still be in the 265-270 range) I'm beginning to believe you're a fucking idiot.
  9. So you keep saying. Over and over and over again. Right now he's on the White Sox, and is a big reason the Sox have won as many games as they have. The guy has 7 HR, 29 RBI, and .883 OPS. Nobody thought he was going to hit .400 all season.... This is what's called normalization.
  10. Those people are fucking stupid too. Don't be stupid.
  11. There's valid criticism, and then there's blind criticism. He hit two absolute rockets today. They just happened to get caught. That's baseball. He's a rookie and he's going to have ups and downs. Is this your first time watching baseball, or what?
  12. Nick Madrigal looks and sounds like he's 15.
  13. At home. That's what they said on the broadcast. 1958 was the last time. Unless I heard incorrectly.
  14. This team is good. First 4 game sweep in over 60 years.... Lol. Gio is back. So is Hendriks. Nick Madrigal has been hitting the ball really well.. DON'T FUCKING BUNT WITH HIM, TLR.
  15. That's because you're stuck in the past, just like most of the people running MLB. Those that aren't living in the past are perfectly capable of accepting the fact that a college kid on his laptop, sitting in his dorm room watching the game, could likely manage a baseball team just as well as the dinosaurs sitting in the dugout. In some instances, probably better.
  16. Actually, it's very easy to see what's going on with in-game decisions. Baseball is a very transparent, cut and dry sport. Analytics has taken most of the "gut feeling" decisions out of the mix. The correct decision at any point is apparent to most people that are paying attention and have access to the internet. And yet.... There's a reason managers don't get a lot of credit in baseball. They don't have much of an impact on wins. Their good decisions are more or less common sense. Their bad decisions are very easily exposed, and have a big impact on the game. Baseball is very much a numbers game now, and if you're making decisions that are counterintuitive to the numbers, you're doing it wrong.
