AJ with the tater!

Derrick was unstoppable, a performance for the ages. And Tyrus really showed just how much that jumper has improved this season. I groaned when he'd take that shot earlier in the season, but he showed that that is now a respectable part of his offense. Noah delivered one of his best performances as a pro. Going forward, Miller and especially Hinrich have to do more offensively. You can't expect Derrick to drop 36 every game in this series (though I think he will put up at least 20 in every game), we all know Salmons isn't 100%, Tim Thomas was just chucking. I expect there to be slack going forward in comparison to this performance, and they need to help pick it up. We can win this series, but the Bulls had better expect and prepare for an improved effort by the C's. We may have drawn first blood, but it's gonna take a lot more to put them away.

I got a couple jerseys of marginal players, but not of White Sox. I have a Dolphins Karim Abdul-Jabbar, a Bengals Carl Pickens, a Bears Curtis Conway. My only WS jersey with a name is a Big Hurt.

The news of Garnett sitting out definitely changes things. Could make this a series. I still favor the Celts, but the Bulls have enough to take 'em to the brink like the Hawks did last year.

Bulls are losing in 5. I can see them getting 1 win fueled by the UC home crowd. But Boston is too talented, too experienced.

Wise to DL with Separated Shoulder/Anderson to Start in CF

For his efforts, D-Weezy got the #7 Top Play on SportsCenter. -
QUOTE (rangercal @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 09:17 PM) Give me Boston with KG's unknown health status over Orlando any day.Orlando isn't exactly healthly. Rashard Lewis has a knee injury, Hedo Turkoglu is battling a sprained ankle. And they're in a slump, having lost 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5 with tonight's loss to Milwaukee. I definitely want the Magic. I think Boston is faking the severity of KG's injury. He's got a lot of miles on him, so giving him time off will give him prime him for a stretch run.

Wise to DL with Separated Shoulder/Anderson to Start in CF

Definitely hate to see this. I like Wise. The only thing I hated was him as a leadoff hitter. And as soon as Ozzie corrected that, he showed why he has some worth. He really sacrificed the body and made a great defensive play. Hopefully the separation wasn't too severe and he'll make a speedy recovery. -
Separated shoulder for Wise. I hate to see him go out like that. I never want to see a guy get injured.

DJ snaked out of that jam.

OMG, Carlos f'n Quentin. That swing looked almost effortless, like he just flicked at that pitch.
-
Thank God that inning's over. Get Gavin out, now.
-
I'd much rather the Bears get Holt and then get the best available wideout with their 2nd rounder. Avoid Plaxico like the plague.

Tragic story. RIP.

Standing O that first at bat. After that, he's a Twin and will be treated accordingly.

Rosenthal: Melky Cabrera is on the block; Sox would be good fit
Ron replied to DaTank's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 25, 2009 -> 11:12 PM) The question has never been about whether the Sox should buy low on Cabrera - I think that's a resounding yes from pretty much everybody. The question has always been whether New York would sell low on Cabrera... You hit the nail right on the head. I think Melky is a prime candidate for a change of scenery and could potentially thrive here. But if the Yankees are going to ask the world for him, he can stay right where he is. -
