Wow, i just read through a lot of the gamethread and it looks like i missed out on a lot of entertainment.. Love to see A.J. come through for us in the club, and a bitter part of me loved seeing Swish kick Linebrink in the nuts with that bomb. But that was a small part, easily ignored.

We didn't sign Peavy, we traded for him. We traded four arms, and i'm yet to regret giving up any of them. KW doesn't deserve to get fired. The greatest mistake he's ever made is going against his better judgement and giving Ozzie the final say over the construction of the roster. All he needs is a reality check, and he's getting one at the moment. We all are.

Got home and turned on the game and saw Paulie hit a bomb. Very nice. Saw Nix in RF, very confused. He should be at 3b and Teahen should be in the OF. It makes no sense to put your second best defensive infielder in the OF.

It's nice to have a high OPB-man in the lead-off spot. Never a bad thing to have someone who can take a walk... ever.

Ozzie really doesn't get basic lineup construction. There's no logic to be found here.
