pods cleared for re-entry into the atmosphere
We're in a wee bit of trouble if he doesn't work his stuff out. Kotsay is not an everday option.

nice try by pods at least
What did you like better? The bad angle he took or lunging himself out of a good position to chase the ball?
Washburn’s is not as good a pitcher as this year would reflect. He’s pitching decently, but his peripherals are shaky, and I expect his ERA to inflate to the 4’s.

this just in you boners: i cant remember a game that mattered that JP pitched worth a s*** in.
Really? Like one guy can control his team's ultimate destiny? Peavy's pitched his ass off for years with teams that featured Adrian Gonzalez and whatever AAAA dregs that the Padres could scrape up. He's absolutely a great pitcher.
Poor CR seemed a bit shell shocked. I’ve always thought he was a great kid, has a nice future ahead of him too, if he keeps it up. The Padres rotation is going to be pretty fun to watch soon with Latos, Richard, Gallagher and Poreda In it.
Holmberg had another nice start this week. It was cut a bit short due to rain.

I'm going to make a prediction that with Poreda, Richard, and Dex gone we're going to see Holmberg take a nice spot in the White Sox pitching prospect rankings by the end of the year..
