When healthy Harden is one of the best pitchers in the league, that’s the huge x-factor. If we’re doing this as a Coop/Herm can fix ‘em type of deal then it’s a worthy purchase. But if we’re counting on him to anchor even the smallest percentage for our staff I’m not sure it’s wise investment. I’m not sure if Dotel is the return. He’s a tentative type A free agent, who might be able to make the team younger and better, through a different trade or the draft.

I wonder whose going to be on the Barons for the playoff run after the second half? If I had to guess I’d say Vicideo, and Shelby will be the primary two offensive mainstays with Hudson, Shirek, and Marrero coming (or in Shirek's) case staying with the team, while a fair few like, Cook, Mcculloch, Danks, Flowers, Allen, Retherford, Gartrell either being in AAA or with the big league club.
