    LOST!!!!

So, Lost Season 6 is going to be Walt, Penny and Desmond just chilling out all year?
  3. He's also changed from the Quentin-like stance he was using to start the season. Just saying...
  4. Damn you, Jordan Danks! Your social-climbing ways have done this, but seriously this sucks. Let's mobilize everyone and write our asses off. I'm talking SouthSideSox, WSI, Whatever. Let's get the word out.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 13, 2009 -> 11:47 AM) The options were to play Betemit, Nix, Getz or Ramirez in CF. Wait. Start a guy who has successfully played CF at an international level? Bulls***.
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 13, 2009 -> 01:30 AM) Yeah, average all the way up to .186. That's hot, baby! And the Cubs aren't leaving anybody behind anytime soon as suspect (horrible) as their bullpen is. Everyother team in that division has just as many question marks if not more. The Cubs starting five and offense will eventually surmount any challenge that the Brewers offense can throw at it, but as you did mentioned the bullpen is very, very bad. I see that as the X-Factor, but i don't see it a bridge they can't cross.
  7. QUOTE (Cali @ May 12, 2009 -> 09:06 PM) Easy solution to fix Heroes: Fire Tim Kring, promote Bryan Fuller to Show Runner. The 4th season would be a comeback season. Guaranteed. Nah, i'd fire all the writers, but Fuller and Verehiden. Then promote Fuller and let him hire his own writing staff.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 12, 2009 -> 10:57 PM) I made his AAP page today and noted he was struggling. He must have noticed. Can you make one for Lillibridge too?
  9. Has anyone else noticed Fields gradually reverting to his old straight-up batting stance? He had this very Quentin-like thing going on when he was hot, adn it seems to have fallen by the wayside. Great nights for the bullpen and Big Jim.
  10. Milton Bradley has started hitting. IF he does so consistently, i only see the Cubs looking behind them in the division for the rest of the year. Sadly for them, the Dodgers are the better team.
  11. Nice AA debut for Danksy 2. Don't see him going back down.
  12. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 12, 2009 -> 01:47 PM) Enough of this crap. But Aaron Poreda isn't even up yet.
  13. Jordan Danks' very first promotion. Hopefully, the first of many.

    Films Thread

Saw Star Trek, loved it. Best space scifi film since Serenity.
  15. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ May 11, 2009 -> 10:33 PM) Mark De"steroid"sa's offensive improvement starting in texas is also skeptical with all the Texas ties to PED's. Holy s***, I know the era was tainted, but are we going to do this to EVERYONE??? We're "proving" points through accusations, folks.
  16. Hawks WIN! I USED TO HATE HOCKEY, BUT I'M f***ING EXCITED!!!
  17. This kid's going to win at least one gold glove during his career.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ May 11, 2009 -> 07:42 PM) I noticed that too...thanks for not making me feel crazy. Worst fundamental team I've ever seen. BTW, another walk to the #9 hitter. It was a pretty pitch too. All he had to do was drop the glove, i did that in Little League.
  19. QUOTE (tommy @ May 11, 2009 -> 07:31 PM) Dye singles. Break up the White Sox!
