I'd say that while Joe Borchard failed the White Sox, the Royals have failed Alex Gordon. The things they've put him through this year are unforgivable.

What about Cody Ross, it seems like he could be had for fairly cheap and he's played all three OF spots in his career.
I'd love to have Cody Ross but i've heard the opposite. The Marlins want a lot for him.

Also, a lineup of DeJesus-Resurgent Gordon-Rios-Paulie-Quentin-Teahen-Alexei-AJ-Pierre would be wonderful. I'd assume Viciedo & Kotsay would be the odd men out.
This is Ozzie we're talking about. He'll be hitting 3rd daily.
The cardiac closer rears his ugly head. Once again proving that he can’t ever truly be trusted when the game is on the line. This is f***ing catastrophic.

And Nick Swisher continues to have a fantastic season for the Yankees.
Swisher coupled with Jay Bruce are pretty clear indicators that strange trends in BABIP need to be followed closely and taken with a grain of salt.
The D-Backs want a king’s ransom for Haren. Sacrificing everything for a guy like him when he's not even filling a pressing need would be a disservice to this team.
What a f***ing rush!!! I feel like wrestling a bear with my own bare hands, that's how excited i am. People say baseball is boring? The emotion of the 8th and 9th... there's nothing like it. f***ing nails, Bobby. NAILS.

Seriously. It's like saying you have to like obnoxious fans or something.
I like Hawk. He's been a great part of my White Sox fanhood and he’s an integral part of the White Sox brand, but the guy gets on my nerves. He’s more invested in being folksy and hyper-critical then actually calling the ballgame. That’s my biggest complaint.
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 09:08 PM)
While Hawk can be tough at times, if you dont like him its hard to call you a wsox fan.
Bulls***, i can like the team and not like the broadcaster. That's ridiculious.

They pay the position players to make those plays on squibblers! It makes all the difference to a pitcher when he has to face that 4th 5th 6th 7th out of the inning.....
It's a pitchers job to pitch himself out of jams. It doesn't matter whether he created them or not. The Twins didn’t suddenly get six runs in a vacuum there were circumstances outside of one bad play by Q that contributed to it.
