  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:40 PM) It's actually going to be a Stephen A Smith audio book. Can Avery Johnson read an introduction?
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:38 PM) I can't wait to read the book about this entire process that comes out in 3 months...it's going to be awesome to read what really went down behind the scenes... If Sam Smith writes it, i might kill myself.
  3. QUOTE (beckham15 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:24 PM) kinda wish we would have hinrich still now if lebron doesnt come that would make our roster even better The Hinrich move freed up money for Boozer. No regrets.
  4. The Bulls still have enough pieces to swing trades too. They never crippled themselves going into free agency like the Knicks did.
  5. The worst thing that could happen is Lebron going to Miami. Every other scenario has the Bulls making a legitmate play for the top seed in the East, year in and year out.
  6. Keep in mind that the Nets wanted Boozer too. This could have turned into a bidding war, but it didn't. There's something at play here.
  7. Also, for anyone who wants to bring up Boozer being injury prone. Two words: Taj Gibson. This is wonderful.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:09 PM) I know Amar'e is better than Boozer, but god damn, the Knicks overpaid. We're getting a comparable player at $20 million less. And our PF has two working eyes!
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:07 PM) So like I said earlier we would basically be the Atlanta Hawks. A solid team that makes the playoffs and 2nd round but with no chance to win a title. Not a great position to be in. Boers would call that NBA Hell. Frankly, there's worse places to be. Essentially, we're the mid-90's New York Knicks.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:03 PM) No one is disagreeing with that but nobody wants to be just a 3 or 4 seed in the east. The good news is that there's still parity here. Look at the core that Lebron has to choose from. The Bulls have the very best one. I don't think Lebron to the Knicks is even a deal breaker. I think we'll have great basketball to watch from here on out. Chalmers Wade Beasley Bosh O'Neal/Haslem/Pittman Rose FA Deng Boozer Noah Douglas Gallo Chandler Amare FA
  11. f*** it. I'm all in again. This is the year of Marquez/Lebron. And there is nothing wrong with that.
  12. Guy just remember even if we don't get Lebron, the following two lineups are still probably a top 3-4 seed in the East. Rose Allen Deng Boozer Noah Rose Reddick Deng Boozer Noah.
  13. The Bulls may have just played their last hand here, but it's a really good one. There's still hope.
  14. Don't quote me on this but i believe that the Bulls still have room for a MAX. This is a great move regardless.
  15. This whole Lebron thing is starting to make me feel sick to my stomach. The thread on RealGM looks like a suicide prevention hotline.
  16. Just popped back on. Glad to see Peavy's status looking a bit better. Good night, folks.
  17. This coupled with all the NBA bulls*** and the fact that i have to get up to work tomorrow... I'm going to bed.
  18. Where's our resident doctor on the board when we need him?
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:32 PM) Why can't Andruw get suspended for performance enhancers? Don't we have someone on here that can frame him? He's clearly been off his cycle for a while. He's clean.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:32 PM) AJP is terrible now, but he looks like Babe Ruth compared to the guy behind him. Ramon Castro is a better option at this point. No, i cannot beleive i just said that with authority.
  21. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:29 PM) So obviously Hudson is untradeable right now.. does this leave us in the dust for a hitter? I think it probably does. This puts Flowers in the catbird seat. The organization better hope he starts hitting.
  22. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:28 PM) Lets hope Peavy can have surgery during the all star break and be back for the second half of the season. Yes, let's hope he can have surgery and recover during a four day span. That would be a miracle of science.
  23. I'm somewhat comfortable with Hudson stepping in here, but i can't deny that this hurt likes a b****.
  24. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:26 PM) well if they wanted to, they could push Peavy's next start out till the 19th thanks to the all star game. Yeah.... i don't think that's going to be a problem.
