Sqwert...what really sucks is we're going to have to give up one or two of the few prospects we have in order to acquire more hitting, when all KW had to do is tell Ozzie to STFU and sign Thome. Thome's OPS is approaching 1
This is the part of this i've dreaded the most ever since the Thome debacle. Kotsay/Jones was never going to work, now we've put ourselves into a position to lose talent that we didn't have to.

Kind of sad thats all Cleveland could muster up.
Berman pegged the crowd at around 150 people. If that's true then that's an awful turn out.
Bulls meeting is coming to an end. The Powers That Be are preparing to exit in style.

"Bulls' escalades in front of building. So much for a covert exit. Crowd gathering around, this should be fun."
Either the Bulls or someone deeply invested in the success of the Bulls has more balls then I imagine. They gave Lebron a package at midnight and thet flat out challenged him to beat Jordan. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie
After brutally battering the phrase “hang, whiff ‘em” into the submission, Hawk has turned his attention to “Don’t Stop Now, Boys.” Hawk, please. You don’t have to say it every time we have a scoring chance.

How would that Deng deal free up money for this season?
Deng to the Blazers would leave the Bulls about a million short of two Maxs. This could (and would) be easily remedied by trading James Johnson.
