Collins has no arm and no mobility. Hanie at least has one of those two. This doesn't make a lick of sense.

Good to see that every facet of Chicago's game has decided not to show up.

I haven't slept well these last two nights. I'm about as excited for this game as i was in the hours preceding the blackout game in 2008 or the Super Bowl in 2006. Bear Down, Chicago Bears!

I don't see a problem with trying to make Dayan as versatile as they can. Especially with the defensive reputation his infield play has given him. The organization is just trying to find a way to give him as many at-bats as they can.

I would have preferred an open compeition in spring. Teahen had every oppurtunity last year to win the job going into this one, he didn't. Meanwhile, Morel rides in and actually shows the kinds of things that this orgaization has been looking for since Crede went down mid-2007. Morel should be given a chance here.

If the terms are fair, i don't see what's not to like about this. This gives us a lot of flexibility especially with our approach to Chris Sale.

I just read the bulk of this stuff on Deadspin. This is pretty unsavory from both sides. These public pissing matches never end well.

The Royals farm system is loaded. Eventually, they're going to have to stop stocking up a surplus of talent and actually make the deals that are going to help them win ball games now, instead of in the future.

This went down a lot quicker then i thought it would. It seems like a good deal for both sides.

Jesus, Wood still has electric stuff. I used to watch the end of Cubs games just to watch him and Marmol go to work. This would give us an incredible amount of flexibility at the end of games. Bring him home, KW.

I really can't stop watching that Metrodome video. I adore everything about it.

I expressed sentiments earlier in this thread comparing the Phillies to the Yankees and Red Sox, and then I remembered they actually acquired Oswalt and Halladay via trade from assets they built up in-house. So, yeah, not as bad as I made them to be. Frankly, really impressive.

The last time the White Sox liked Yankees prospects we came back with Jeff Marquez. Stay away. And as nice as it is to see the Yankees come away with nothing here, the Phillies are becoming just as bad.

This trade made the Twins weaker. I like it.
