Hahahahahaha, an infield single to end a perfect game with 2 outs in the 8th.
How much does it suck to Galarraga!?
He was safe too. The ump blew an easy call.

D. Wise is crying somewhere right now after that catch.
Wheezey just opted out of his Phillies minor league contract. HOLY s*** THE UMP JUST COST THE TIGERS A PERFECTO

This. We have nothing to look forward to.
Hudson, Viciedo, Morel, and Torres are the only positive signs of a dim future.
So, the Tigers sixth starter is throwing a perfect game and our "#2 of the future" is s***ting the bed. AGAIN. This is a great day to be a White Sox fan.

The Billboard is Up.
I imagine there were some legal issues for the Lebron in a Bulls uni framed against the Chicago skyline picture. This is a decent enough replacement,
This is really depressing. I really wish he had retired after 2008 and then signed a one day contract with the Mariners.. He could have gone out on some semblance of the top.
Hermida, Hall and Lowell are guys who either have unfufilled potential or are being counted on to revert to career norms. There's no comparison to starting a backup 1b and a utilty guy at DH and giving them a wealth of at-bats. Especially, considering the roster makeup of the Red Sox and how they have options all over the field.
Man, i'm waiting for the first couple of hit pieces on Teahen to come out. If he doesn't turn it around quick, we're going to hear about how Ozzie thinks his attitude doesn't fit in with the makeup of the clubhouse, and he's going to get, "Swishered" out of here. I don't think the book is closed on Mark Teahen. He looked like he was turning a corner before he went down with his injury. I know his defense was terrible, but he's still a good guy, works some of the best at-bats out of anyone on the team, and is still a hell of a lot better then Chris Getz and Josh Fields.

I have difficulty finding much to complain about in that lineup
Other then Pierre at DH with TCQ in the field, and Vizquel hitting 2nd?

I wouldn't be unhappy with Workman. He's not a real exciting guy, but it could be worse. I'm still hoping for Harvey though if they go the college pitcher route. He fits the direction they seem to be going recently of the higher upside college player, too.
I like Workman's curve and he's been trying to develop a cutter over the course of the year. He seems like a guy whom we could easily work with on somethings.
