He's Richie Cunningham's older brother.
We're going to get a shot of Nix going out to play basketball, and then no one will ever hear from him again.

Lack of playing time might do that for you...
If this was a sitcom, Nix would say his catchphrase and then disappear for fourty episodes. Actually, i think that's pretty much how the reality show will turn out.

And until Beckham and Quentin start hitting, I'm not going to complain one iota if they keep rotating through the bench every 2-3 days to work on their swings in the batting cage.
I was more weirded out by us benching A.J. for Castro. We should be exposing A.J. to as many scouts as possible.

That's the point. They're not our best 9.
In the long-term, I'd rather seem that lineup then any lineup with Vizquel or Kotsay in it. For now, Kotsay can ride his hot streak, but the nine i listed are the best guys on the roster (which says more bad then good.)
I'm not talking about tonights game in particular, i just haven't seen a lineup with our best nine (A.J, Konerko, Beckham, Teahen, Ramirez, Jones, Rios, Pierre, TCQ) in some time. We're abusing versatility.
QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 28, 2010 -> 03:21 PM)
Pierre LF
Ramirez SS
Rios CF
Konerko 1B
Jones RF
Quentin DH
Teahen 3B
Castro C
Beckham 2B
Are we ever going to throw out an actual starting lineup with (what should be) our nine starters? It just seems like we keep going from having TCQ out, Kotsay in, Jones out, AJ out, Castro in without rhyme or reason.
Heyman weighs in,
"Despite the White Sox's unexpected early struggles and some small rumor of change in the manager's office, one person familiar with that team's setup said, "Ozzie (Guillen) isn't going anywhere.''

Nick Swisher and Todd Ritchie are the two that come to mind right away.
We did do our homework on Swish, we just took one bad grade and made it indicative of a larger sample size. YAY FOR METAPHORS. (and the word indicative!!!!)
Ozzie insists that Bobby is throwing the ball well, and will continue his reign (of terror) as the Sox closer.
"Manager Ozzie Guillen said Bobby Jenks remains his closer after allowing three runs in the ninth inning of Wednesday's 5-4 win at Cleveland.
"He will dictate how long he will be out there," Guillen said before Thursday night's game at Tampa Bay. "I still have confidence in the kid. I think he's still throwing the ball well. He's just not getting it done."

These daily boxscores are mostly garbage. Is there anyone good in this organization other than Daniel Hudson?
I almost said Brett Lillibridge, and then i threw up in my mouth a little.
