    LOST!!!!

I believe the alt Kimmel endings are jokes. Also, the Alt's purgatory. The island and off-island stuff were life, and the white light was heaven.

    LOST!!!!

The last twenty minutes of LOST were an absolute travesty. That’s a damn shame. I guess they were onto something when they named Charlotte Lewis after C.S. Lewis, because that was right out of the Chronicles of Narnia.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 23, 2010 -> 06:52 PM) Freddy's job is to pitch well enough to be traded to a contender. So far he's been doing that too. I hope today was just a blip. I'm looking forward to the start of the Hudson era, and i'm glad to see him back on track.
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 23, 2010 -> 06:21 PM) He's pretty much a non prospect at this time. He's 26 years old. I don't think KW asking for him would hold up any deal, but I wouldn't expect much from him if he was acquired. Jenks isn't going to really fetch us anything more then guys like Mayberry. He's a guy with a lot of potential who has reached a crossroads in his minor league career. You get him and insert him the OF for half a year, and see what you've got.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 23, 2010 -> 06:12 PM) Why? He has 5-tools and a nice pedigree, and i think he could be had for one of Jenks or Putz. We're not shooting for the stars here.

    LOST!!!!

Angel has the best finale hands down. BSG had the worst.
  7. Gilmore 2-4 with a home-run. Seth Loman 1-4 with a home-run.
  8. This might be pie in the sky thinking, but i want John Mayberry JR. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...&pid=460055
  9. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 23, 2010 -> 05:49 PM) That was a real beat down today. But, I see Doc Halladay got beat up bad by the Bosox so I guess you can't be mad at Freddie. Only his second bad outing this year. I'm not really sure what Doc Halladay getting beaten (for once) has anything to do with Freddy getting knocked around.
  10. "Tell me your name, i said sweet, she said my boy it's dagger. BAdadadadadadadada"
  11. QUOTE (CSF @ May 23, 2010 -> 05:43 PM) Hudson: 8 IP, 3 hits, 0 ER, 0 BB, 11 K Yeah, remember when he was bad? Here's hoping that no one on the club is a big enough prick to tell Freddy about this line today. I suspect he'd be angry.
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ May 23, 2010 -> 05:33 PM) Well, the Phillies know questionable relievers when they see them. They do have a thing for former White Sox, and they have a nice crop of toolsy OF's who are good enough to be wanted, but not great enough to not be had in a trade.
  13. OVA. Third time shut out this year. Least i was my a good pitcher this time.
  14. This really feels lik the starts are in place. I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but my god Lebron with Rose and Noah is the stuff dreams are made of.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 23, 2010 -> 05:11 PM) Um, they're doing a much better job in close games as opposed to the beginning of the year when they were using Caridad as their set-up man. I do look forward to watching Howry pitch more for them. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Linebrink or Jenks pitch for them. That's right i'm hoping the Cubs stay in contention just long enough for them to need bullpen help when we start to unload.
  16. Awesome, it sounds like it's time for Hawk to bash Moneyball again!
  17. Man, if Mark Kotsay keeps looking this hot, he'll never be out of the lineup.
  18. QUOTE (Jbabs34 @ May 23, 2010 -> 04:56 PM) i was flipping back and forth between this and the hawks and i saw ozzie yellin at their pitcher...what happened? Ozzie was screaming at Dan Meyer for throwing at A.J.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 23, 2010 -> 04:49 PM) Kotsay? Jerry Owens. The Garret Anderson comp threw me off too.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 23, 2010 -> 04:47 PM) D1. Yep, this one is tricky. Former, but recent Sox. One of Ozzie's favorites. Drafted by NL organization. "Tall and lean physique. Similar to Garret Anderson. Open stance. Short, compact swing. Gap power. Chance to become productive base stealer. Quick acceleration. Bat must improve." Also, i think we're due for a brawl today.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ May 23, 2010 -> 04:30 PM) That's easy, Rios It was a trick. Santos. Next one is easier. Also, a current Sox. " Excellent build. Tall, lean, strong, proportional, athletic build. Agressive mentality. Mound presence. Uses both sides of plate with fastball. Not afraid to throw inside. Comfort zone 89-91 mph with hard, armside run and late sink down. 3/4 curveball, knee-buckler with quick sharp strike zone bite. Early sign with University of Texas."
  22. Here's a game to pass the time. Guess that current/former White Sox player by scouting report from draft day. Starting with a current Sox:" Strong, athletic physique. Well-defined legs and arms. Body like Alex Rodriguez. Wide, balanced, open stance. Good bat speed, plus power potential. Major League arm with carry. Smart player, good instincts with sure hands. Anticipates well at shortstop."
