If you're talking to me, I never said everyone could do 8 minute miles. I'd bet a large percentage of the population couldn't (without being in, or getting in shape that is). I said an 8 minute mile isn't killing it if you do run. Two entirely different things.

I mean, you can basically walk a mile in 10 minutes at a pretty decent pace if you're in somewhat decent shape. So I agree with Crede, 8 isn't killing it by any means.

He looked like one of the least athletic guys doing just about anything other than swinging a bat any time he was on the field. Problem is, he thought he was good at everything else that came along with the game of baseball. His performance in the field proved he wasn't. Maybe if he just accepted he was just a DH and nothing else. maybe he wouldn't have been injured all the time.

That is bullshit. There is literally no way they don't know who owns what. Simply for tax purposes and filing with the state, there is no way. That was just some nonsense started by JRs cheap ass since he didn't want people to know how little of the team he actually owns. Everyone who is part of the White Sox knows what they control and most probably know the exact amounts of every single member. Obviously them telling the public is a different matter, but they certainly know.

Man, 2007 made me think of Dewon Day. Then it made me think of the shitty song cover of you had a bad day, but it was, cause you have Dewon Day. It used to be on youtube, but it's gone now sadly. That was pretty much the only good part of that 2007 team was that video.

My favorite play of the game was the Allen getting a 1st down on 4th and less than a yard that somehow wasn't a 1st even though the one ref marked it, then replay showed him getting past the line. Such utter garbage.

The Sox also signed Andrew Benintendi, they did afford it. Look how well that went for them. Even if a team needs some offense, a contract like that is awful for said team that can't afford to whiff on 20+ million a year contract. Sucks, but this is where the game is today.

They did put out an effort. JR didn't want to pay up. But I do think Hahn tried with what he was working with. I hate Hahn more than most on this board, so that's saying something.

It's not anything new. He doesn't have a strong leg. His kicks tend to be at a lower angle because of this. No one actually has to study film during the week to show it. It is known. He is super accurate under 40, but 50 yards is pretty much his max. Anything over 40 and it's pretty much a line drive kick. That said, our coach should know this too. That's why you make sure that at the end of the game you get him as close to 40 yards or less. What a complete clown.

Happens way too often by Sox fans. It's so fucking stupid. We got to watch one of the best post season runs by a team in MLB history and people who claim to fans act like Cubs fans when it comes to the '05 team. So dumb.

People on that retro game life. Tube tvs for life. Hmm. I have one of those shitty Samsung "smart" remotes that doesn't have a number pad. Smart tv with a dumb ass remote. I'll have to see if there is a way to still manually add a channel instead of trying to scan for it. Though usually if it's something that has a good enough signal, scanning picks it up.

Update: Tried to scan for the channel the other day and it didn't come up. I'm in the western burbs. Assuming the channel is live to watch over the air now, right?

This is the stretch where he needs to look good and he has so far. Again, them not really playing him in the pre-season was dumb. Essentially this is the start of his regular NFL game experience being game five. Anyways, it's super encouraging.

This is awesome. I can now watch "baseball" with my three year old daughter easily. (Everything is baseball to her and she wants to watch it all the time) Having every major streaming service didn't get us Sox games before. Now it does and it's free. Sure the team might suck, but she enjoys it and that's all that matters.

He also essentially had no pre season because the morons thought it wasn't necessary. So this is basically "week one" for him. This is also a pretty easy few game stretch. We'll see.
