I suppose but they have one of the best teams in the American League. They will add to that team. If they don't, I'll grab my pitchfork and get in line.
It's not misleading at all. Will Sox lead AL in offseason spending? Most likely not. But at this point, they've improved more than any team in the AL and whining about them constantly doesn't really make sense right now.
Top of the line free agents in the $200 million range, sure. They outbid teams for Keuchel and Grandal last year. Hendriks won't be a huge deal. The years is the issue.
Why wouldn’t they have a chance at Hendriks? Honestly? What has been said or presented otherwise from credible people that has given an indication that the Sox aren’t in on Hendriks? I feel like the entire fan base is freaking out and the Sox are the only division contender to improve so far this offseason.
Owners will not play 162 and pay players full salaries without fans. Players have no incentive to play less than 162. The MLBPA wants regular spring training with the season to start on time. It's going to be a mess.
It will most likely be 20 rounds. This might be the only time ever where I'd recommend a college heavy approach. They just dont have anywhere for prep players to play right now. There are already like 10 outfielders in AZL.
Nah. Crochet will be starting in AA regardless I’d think
They’ll sign another starter. Katz thinks Lopez is a reliever and Kopech assuredly won’t start with big league team.
These last two years were his first time in this role as closer. He was a bad starter and didn’t work in a long relief role either. His stuff ticked up in a late inning role. This type of thing is very common.
