No doubt, but here we are sitting on 1.5 games back of the division lead with half the team underperforming. Even with a flawed roster (thanks Rick!) we should be winning this shit division. Unfortunately a mix of La Russa, Menechino, and poor player leadership is doing us dirty right now.

I think Grandal is the only guy who appears to have totally lost his ability. I’m not sure what’s going on with Giolito, but maybe he’s not going to return to form this year. But I think a different manager & hitting coach get a lot more out of these guys and in this shitty division a few more games would have us in 1st place.

You’re probably right. Just sucks because there is enough talent to win this shitty division, but just feels like the light switch is never going to turn on for us.

I love the Sox…not baseball. This team makes it hard to want to watch them, but I’ll never switch over to the Cubs or another team. I’ll just find other things to do with my team until football season starts.

What’s amazing is the Twins are just begging us to steal this division, but these guys just don’t want it. I have never seen a Sox team with such little drive.

If you followed Footlong’s tweets, it took about four or five to realize how full of shit he is. But his strategy make sense. Make a dart throw on something and if you’re right all of the sudden everyone things you’re legit. Miss and all you do is fold up the account and try again under another food-based handle. That’s the same strategy that Orlando used with the Al’s Cheesy Beef account and worked until he outed himself. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is simply another Orlando account given his pathetic need for attention.

We should return to Cody Asche…it’s the only thing that might save the season.

Two years ago he just got here and barely had a chance to install his offensive philosophy. More importantly, two years ago there was a juiced ball and that allowed for different approaches to be successful. This is classic Steven Stone water carrying and the dude needs to simply STFU when it comes to his Twitter usage. I seriously doubt there is another professional sports announcer who spends the bulk of his time ripping his team’s fanbase.
