  1. All good brother, just didn’t know if I missed something.
  2. My point is that unfortunately for us either we deal a key piece of our bullpen or we likely can’t get him. I’m not suggesting we do or don’t that trade, just pointing out we don’t have any other top 100 prospects. Also, I wouldn’t deal Kopech for you pretty much anything and consider him a much more valuable asset than Crochet.
  3. Gallo is on pace for a 6+ win season and he’s still very young, meaning the Rangers can extent & build around him. The Rangers are going to need at least one top 100 prospect plus other stuff at a minimum. Unfortunately for us Crochet is the only guy that fits the bill.
  4. Rutherford probably won’t be in the organization after this season as his performance doesn’t warrant a 40 man spot IMO. Colas isn’t even a part or the organization. I’d 100% deal Cespedes for Gallo regardless, but that’s not going to be enough.
  5. Collins is a really useful role player. Also, glad the team came came to play tonight! Nothing better than fucking up them cheating Astros.
  6. Not worth sacrificing a key member of the rotation to upgrade an offense that’s already loaded. I’m going to assume the D-Backs want prospects and not a major league pitcher if they move Ketel.
  7. I don’t think this has any impact on Kelley as he’s a good three years away. What this does is make it easier to move one of Crochet or Stiever and still have a halfway decent #6 guy heading into 2022.
  8. No way they trade Cease. I mean, what RF (other than Joc...lol) would be available that would warrant that kind of return?
  9. I don’t think you can trade him right now, but he’s definitely a guy you can take flyers on in the offseason.
  10. I’m sure they’ll see what it will take to bring him and will almost certainly offer him a QO, but he hasn’t exactly been a beacon of health and Scott Boras is his agent. I seriously doubt him taking a Lynn type deal without fully testing the market, but you never know I guess.
  11. So your 2022 rotation is: Lance Lynn Lucas Giolito Michael Kopech Dylan Cease Dallas Keuchel Skip the shit out of Keuchel next year and then have Crochet replace him in 2023.
  12. I always felt 2/$40M was fair, so this with an option is unbelievable!!! @CaliSoxFanViaSWside - Now we don’t need to go all-in on the 2021 season ?
  13. I’m assuming it would have to be a minor leaguer reliever given how bad Arizona is.
  14. Nope, he has to be on the major league roster or will be exposed to waivers I believe.
  15. Four players is a bit misleading here. I included Lopez in the trade as a way to clear a 40 man roster spot and give the D-Backs a small sweetener. Also, while Adolfo has some value, the lack of options places a big cap on that. As for Soria, to me his addition would be more about depth than being an impact guy. That being said, he’s been better as of late (SSS) and has good experience. I wouldn’t pay a ton for him, but I don’t expect us to land two high end relievers this deadline.
  16. Bummer is worth more than Escobar and we wouldn’t want to trade him anyways while trying to compete.
  17. I do think rentals will go for less than you think, but I agree the Marte trade is probably too light. At the same time, I think you’re underestimating how much a bat like Gallo will cost. Crochet is more or less an automatic if we want him and at least another big piece will be required.
  18. I will also add I could see Burger being moved for a controllable reliever instead of a pursing a pure rental, but perhaps that’s a trade that happens in the offseason.
