  1. No I didn’t. And please never cite names like Altuve, Bergman, Springer, & Coors when discussing Adam Engel & Yolmer Sanchez. Giving them everyday roles again would be a terrible decision.
  2. Moncada has one option left. If they send him down, it will be sometime next year. Let the coaching staff live or die with his development over the next month and a half.
  3. What kids? Engel may be the worst offensive player in baseball. Sanchez got his chance as an everyday regular and has failed to capitalize on it. If we’re not playing a young guy with potential, then we might as well as sign some vets on short term deals to stabilize the clubhouse & provide some leadership. God knows the coaching staff isn’t doing. Purposely tankjng again next year after calling up two top 10 prospects is a completely idiotic plan.
  4. I know it’s easy to blame the hitting coach, but I don’t see what he’s accomplishing here. Half the team has horrible approaches at the plate, guys constantly go through lengthy slumps, & and when someone finally does something right like Anderson taking some walks they quickly revert to their bad habits. They need to bring in a new voice before next season and not risk another year of stalled development with this guy.
  5. At this point, assuming Machado is a no go, I hope they sign Pollack, Dozier, & Murphy to pillow contracts this offseason. Pollack, CF Moncada, 2B Abreu, DH Jimenez, LF Murphy, 1B A. Garcia, RF Dozier, 3B Anderson, SS Castillo, C That could actually be a damn good lineup with rebounds from Murphy & Dozier.
  6. Lol...what? Sign a veteran to a short-term deal and end this nonsense. Engel is not a major league caliber player.
  7. I dream of the day I never have to see Engel swing a bat again.
  8. I can handle the losing, but the stupidity is just too much.
  9. He never wore a varsity jacket and therefore is unequivocally unqualified for the job.
  10. That won’t do shit bro. I’d still have to read all the people replying to your non-stop b****ing & whining. Unfortunately this really is North Korea and there’s no ending your tyranny Kim Jung-un.
  11. They should fire Renteria and let the new manger decide which coaches stay & go. Cooper should not be forced on anyone like he has in the past.
  12. He needs the curveball to be effective in the long-run, so I’m not sure what ditching it in a rebuilding season accomplishes.
  13. For the love of god, take a breather from White Sox baseball. All you do is b**** & whine about the same things over & over and are single-handedly bringing down the quality of the site.
  14. He’s got great secondary pitches and when he can command the fastball to set them up he’s actually a good pitcher. He’s just too damn inconsistent, even within starts. Really seems like a mental midget to me.
  15. That’s because he’a struggled to command it and serves up a ton of meatballs when he falls behind. He also wasn’t at 94 MPH earlier this season.
  16. Does he use Statcast data at all? I know our minor league pitching coaches do, but I never here Cooper mention using it.
  17. His fastball is average IMO. The problem is he needs to be able to command it and have all his off-speed stuff working to be a good pitcher. That guy exists at times, but he just seems to get in his head far too often.
  18. Just seems like one of those games where the Sox will just quit after Lucas gave up that slam.
  19. I agree with you, but at the end of the day he needs to earn the umps’ respect on close calls and until then he needs to protect the plate. I may be Moncada’a biggest supporter on this board, but doing nothing will not solve the problem.
