I liked the shark interview that just finished. This dude's here forever unless we tank. So 5-6 yrs of Shark & Ynoa for the package we gave up is just fine with me.

If Montas+ is enough to get us another young core offensive piece then by all means. I like the idea of selling high on Montas now just because it closes the door on the trade- the Sox would have snagged 2 young offensive pieces for JFP. That's enough for me and I would prefer it to waiting on Montas another few years and all the risk that entails. Who cares if he becomes an ace elsewhere, we have aces.

Not only do we need to fill the hole in LF, but we need to compensate for possible poor production from our RF, 3B, 2B & C. We need to get a serious major leaguer into the lineup, maybe 2 more. This LF needs to be a monster; that's why I now think Kemp or someone like Bryce Harper needs to be traded for. We have one big trade in us for sure and maybe it should focus on a longterm bat, with a nice relief piece included.

I still think trading our prospects is going to be for surer bets than cargo or bruce.

I think we're going to see 2 MLB players coming to the sox from one team. OF + SP or OF + Closer.

I think they share the same MO as they always have: Win, damnit. Fortunately, the RH & KW retooling was the fastest thing this world has ever seen. I don't see any evidence to suggest Hahn operated any differently than KW. If any evidence ever surfaced, I would be the most surprised dude on Soxtalk. But all the evidence shows it's still RH KW & JR...as it's been for a long time.
