Amen! My opinion is that KW is quietly building a young powerhouse. The pitching stables are deep, and the low minors may be riddled with talent. He has done exactly what Theo n Kids are supposedly trying to do. Don't listen to Keith Law and sorts because this farm is stacked and produces MLB talent like crazy. Imagine if Beckham was the stud he looked like in 2009. We'd be nearly unstoppable. So I vote to stay the course and keep the stables full as well. KW4MVP

I wonder why Kenny has Axlerod on the team; anybody can tell he has no stuff, he's a righty with a limp fastball, and on top of that he walks guys. Am I right to assume no GM would want anyhting to do with Axlerod except maybe as some kind of minor league filler? Clearly not a MLB caliber pitcher, and it has nothing and everything to do with yesterday. Just not good enough and there doesn't seem to be any way he ever could be good enough. And he has one of those weird heads that goes way back instead of pretty much straight up from the neck like most humans. And his grill is scary. Even if he was good nobody is gonna buy that thing's jersey. "Indiana, let it go."

Ok I've never heard of teams doing this but is it possible that they are? 2012- Bullpen sandwiched between 5 starts at the beginning and end of the season- total 10 starts 2013- Bullpen sandwiched between 8-10 starts at the beginning and end of the season- total 20 starts 2014- All starts, 32 or whatever. This would adequately stretch his inning total over the next few years, but is it a dangerous way to treat an arm? I kinda like it if it works and isn't too dangerous lol.

I think tons of teams would shell out prospects for Sale this summer. If our management thinks he is an injury risk long term then we need to get rid of him. Throw him out of the bullpen the next 2 months, make it look like he's fine, and then trade him. If he can't start then he is more valuable as a young impact bat we receive than as a RP for us. There will be teams willing to take the risk.
