It’s insane. And the talent in the minors is going to be stronger than most think this season. Breakout city. We’re beyond stocked. It’s almost unfair.

I’ve always been an intangibles guy but since this offseason it’s just been so obvious that our WAR totals are going to dwarf most other teams’. When you have one of the top players in the league at almost every position 1-26,27,28 etc….you’re going to beat everybody. That’s why it’s so dumb to get mad when we lose games The talent is just ridiculous here. Anybody who’s getting all pissy every time we lose or TLR does something, just go look at any other roster. I beg you to go try to find a team you’d rather trade places with. You can’t. And if you can, it’s one of the other top teams. We’re a top team. Tip top.

Yes totally. I feel like this should be pretty obvious- he was awesome last year. We’re gonna run away with the division quite handedly so thankfully the FO isn’t composed of cowards that want to knee-jerk him off the team. They recognize that the way to win the WS is to have all our weapons optimized for October, Marshall included. I love that they haven’t lost faith and are sticking up for him. Probably gonna need to see some improvement by the trade deadline though. And oooo we lost some games to the Yankees. Ooooooowwwweeee.

Eh. A couple inches and Vaughn is a hero, TLR is a hero for trusting his rookie and Boone is getting flamed for pitching Chapman in a non-save situation. Teams lose 60 games a year because of inches decided by coinflip outcomes. By your logic, every losing manager in every game is a total asshole asleep at the wheel. That’s actually an interesting stance to take and would make for a fun discussion. Sadly, that’s not your stance.

A human brain can’t really think the way you represent a human brain at times. dude we could easily win 100 games this year and you’re going to be mad at TLR and the FO for the 62 we lost. Why?

If you’re mad at this one then you must think a team has a chance of winning 130+ games a year. There’s a reason that doesn’t happen. So, now tell me, who’s lying to themselves really?

You know how my theory for the TLR hire is that quite simply the guy they want to lead this decade of Sox baseball wasn’t/isn’t available yet. So hire TLR as a little placeholder. But maybe the end game of this plan is to have TLR vacate the seat by June and Ozzie is forced to step in. The rest is history.

I’d kinda like to hear Hawk call a few guest games with this team, maybe down the stretch when Eloy and Robert are back. He’d immediately be talking about how this collection of talent is unrivaled in the history of the game. Finally his hyperbole would be accurate ?
