  2. Enough of this Bulls talk. Who wants to see them get kicked in the nuts by LeBron in the first round anyway? Let's discuss Mark F***ing Teahen and his inability to hit major league pitching. Somebody go get Crede.
  3. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 09:24 PM) Soxtalk needs an iPhone app... Hahahahaha!!! That's why I'm so late with the replies tonight. I'm too lazy to go get the laptop! On another note....HELL YEAH TCQ!!!
  4. This is late but did anyone else see Quentin grimace a lil bit after that last catch?
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 09:10 PM) Geez Mark, hit the f***ing ball. You just struck out. Bad bad call. Makes you wonder what Joe Crede is up to nowadays...
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 10:30 AM) I assume you are referring to Castro? He seems solid but I don't know if he calls a great game and is a true complete catcher. And you are right, he can't hit. But he called Buehrle's Perfecto last year, didn't he? I thought his defense was above average. I think I remember him gunning somebody at second base last year right after we traded for him.
  7. QUOTE (mreye @ Apr 7, 2010 -> 10:06 PM) Diving stop by Teahan. Nice diving stop. Now get your a$$ up and throw to home for the force out and save a run. It looks so easy from my couch. Now come on. We CANNOT get shut down by a guy with a mullet. Dude looks like East Bound and Down...
  8. There was no chance at 2 on that grounder to Teahen? What about nailing Choo at home?
  9. QUOTE (beckham15 @ Apr 7, 2010 -> 09:48 PM) if we do something it'll be when Chris Perez comes in....we like to tee off on that dude Holy sh*t he's got a mullet!!!
  10. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 7, 2010 -> 09:40 PM) God motherf***ing dammit Teahen. Has Teahen had a hit yet?
  11. LOL Grand F****ing Slam... Go sit the f*** down... Why? because he f***ing can... ..wanted to f***ing go home already... Juan F***ing Uribe... Poetic, my friend. Poetic
  12. Man... I am sitting here literally trying not to bust out laughing at work. That was classic. Your eloquent use of the F bomb is phenomenal.
  13. First pitch... it's been a loooong offseason. Thank God it's here.
  14. Man why the hell am I not there? I had the chance to get tickets too. I HAD them... but I didn't pull the trigger. Dammit!!!
  15. What are they doing with Jake Fox? Is he part of the big club? If so, is he starting?
  16. QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 11:18 AM) Cmon Kenneth, blackout is gonna lose all its intensity now. Blackout games should be reserved for MUST WIN games. I hope they don't wear it out. I was there at the play in game in 08. Blackout games have POWER. I've witnessed it first hand. I was there screaming at the top of my lungs "THIS AIN'T THE DOME B**HES!!!" And like Peter Parker's Uncle Ben says... "With great power comes great responsibility". We must not misuse the power of the Blackout...
  17. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 08:07 AM) This could be a PHT topic, or an ALC topic, but I put it here. Where do you think the teams in the ALC will finish this year? You can provide win totals and/or games back if you'd like, but its not required. Here is my wild ass guess... 1. CHW 2. MIN -3 3. CLE -5 4. DET -9 5. KC -16 Sox win the division because the big question marks - Rios/TCQ/Pierre/Jones - mostly do well, and the pitching is as expected. MIN doesn't do nearly as well offensively as people think they will in the new stadium, adjusts and makes a run late, but falls short. CLE surprises, but are erratic, with their young talent. Detroit is mediocre, and KC just can't get anything going. Yours? I hate to piggyback but I think you're spot on. I think Cleveland will be a lot better than people think and they will give teams in the AL Central fits all year.
  18. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 10:42 AM) Chicago media lives for this stuff. Unfortunately. Now I know why I had mixed feelings about an MLB "reality" show about the Sox. This is starting to remind me of Jersey Shore. Please make it stop. Please just go away.
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 12:08 AM) I know it means nothing, but I hope Anderson does well with KC. I don't want him to beat us, but I always liked him. I agree. It's a shame to waste that CF defense. I really wish someone here could have gotten through to BA and taught him how to hit. He would have been star.
