Yep. Help Robert and help the young pitching staff by signing someone who can go get the ball. If all goes well then we can hide Calhoun's bat in the lineup because everyone else will be mashing. I know it's not ideal, but it's better than having fun bad in the outfield.

I’ll be glad when Dallas Keuchel signs with another team so we don’t have to worry about the White Sox signing him. I can saw MadBum going to the twins or maybe the Padres. I don’t think we get anyone other than Ivan Nova again.

I think they still have room for MadBum.

Stealth Mode. Who saw this coming?

I’m convinced that either we will be underwhelmed by the White Sox moves (Encarnacion, Puig, Calhoun and or Keuchel) or we will be blown away by moves or signings that no one saw coming (big trades/big FA signing or both). There will be no middle ground.

He's betting on himself. There are a lot less SP free agents to compete with on the market next year.

Posturing. Boras will say that the White Sox is by far the most preferred location in MLB if that is what made other teams up the offers to his clients.

I think profits are what’s most important to the White Sox. Winning is secondary. If they happen to win while making money then cool. I don’t think Hahn has near the authority people believe he has to make deals and sign free agents. Same with Kenny Williams when he ran day to day operations. And I do believe RH and KW knew from the very beginning that Reinsdorf would never sign Machado for that much so they signed his buddies and hoped another team wouldn’t beat their lowball offer.

I like Castellanos but I'm sick of seeing bad defense in the outfield. Robert would go nuts with Eloy playing on one side of him and Castellanos on the other side. I wish Heyward's bat was better. I bet that team on the north side would give him away just to offload the contract.

I fully expect this to happen. That's dreadful.

The White Sox will end up with Puig, Encarnacion (way cheaper than $19mil), Will Harris and Quintana when that team on the north side declines his option after signing a SP we want. 81-81 and 3rd in the AL Central. I'll believe this until Jerry Reinsdorf proves me wrong.
