  1. They let that asshole hit another one out?
  2. I say 10 runs minimum against the Orioles. Today will be one of those games. Either that or a bench clearing brawl
  3. QUOTE (soxfan72 @ May 1, 2011 -> 11:56 AM) Same ol' same ol' once again..... Will Greg Walker ever be fired or do I have to put up with this crap the rest of my life? Slumps on the White Sox include 90% of the line up. They go on longer and deeper than any other team. They happen over and over, year after year. This team is an embarassment. When will people start being held accountable for the crap that is the White Sox the last X number of years? I done with this team for the year. They SUCK hard. They SUCK long. They SUCK all too often. And another thing, they can't catch a damn baseball either. And don't get me started on K. Williams, luckiest SOB ever and he jacked with the line up of a WS Championship team. That's it for now. SoxFan72 Then don't watch. No, you don't have to put up with being a White Sox fan. Go be a Giants fan. Then be a fan of who ever wins the World Series this year too.
  4. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 04:49 PM) Just do one for like Humber and Santos and Quentin. The best trio this year. Agreed.
  5. It's hard to believe that there were people here that did NOT wanna trade Beckham for Adrian Gonzalez. Ah but those were the days when he was still referred to as "Bacon". Seems like years ago.
  6. What happened to tonight's game thread? It just disappeared.
  7. Man... This is really sad. Breaks my f***ing heart.
  8. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 09:37 PM) I've never been a complete Kenny backer...but I don't see how anyone can put all the blame for this year's struggles on him. Almost to a man, this board was ecstatic with the offseason and thought Kenny did everything (or almost everything) he should have been doing. The personnel moves were right....the fault lies with the players and the coaches. The time is now to get their s*** in order if we are to get back in the race. Post of the season right here.
  9. STOP PLAYING THESE STUPID f***ING "ALL IN" COMMERCIALS!!!
  10. Man I'm glad I decided against going out to the yard today. How depressing.
  11. Dammit Danks you give up a game tying home run to this piece of s***??
  12. MLB Public Relations When does it start?
  13. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:14 PM) I had the Sox with 50 wins at the break. They have to go 40-27 to the break. Let's get it going tonight. I think that can be done. But they gotta get going.
  14. QUOTE (SnB @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 11:37 AM) I knew someone who put all of his stubs on his desk at home and then fit a glass panel to go above the desk, so it was like the stubs were put into the desk. It looked awesome - he had stubs from the 70s Sweet. Now I gotta go dig all of my ticket stubs out of my recycle bin at home.
  15. Tix on stubhub for $15. Screw it I'm going. Dammit the Sox need a winning streak... Cleveland is starting to BELIEVE.
  16. I'm actually thinking about going out to the yard tonight. Off topic, but what do you guys do with all of your old ticket stubs? Do you keep them? I did some spring cleaning and I collected a bunch of them and was thinking I should throw them out. The only one I was interested in saving was the one from the Blackout game.
  17. 7 runs off of 12 hits. CC gets chased after 5. Sox win... TTHHAAAAAAAAA WHITE SOX WIN!!!
  18. I like Ozzie and I couldn't care any less about his Tweeting or about what he says in front of the cameras. I don't think that has any effect on hitting and pitching. What I do care about is his game time strategy and use of data. I wish he's make better decisions sometimes. Oz is alright in my book. Hey, at least he's not boring.
  19. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 03:29 PM) It's good to know that Quentin takes it as badly as a lot of us on the board when things aren't going so well with the team. As badly? I don't think any of us has slammed our wrist against a bat after fouling a ball off. Well at least I haven't. I HAVE thrown a bowl of popcorn against the wall though (thanks Thornton).
  20. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 12:18 PM) Why? He was doing what he was supposed to be doing. And Giambi was arguably safe anyways. Have you ever seen another infielder do that? Really? Grabbing a bad throw from the outfield and flipping it backwards to the catcher in stride to get a runner crossing the plate? EVERYONE was suprised when he did that. Even Giambi was shocked. He didn't even bother to slide because he didn't think he had to.
  21. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 07:25 AM) I know a lot of you discounted Iguchi's ridiculous catch and throw but I'm blown away by it to this day. This. I still shake my head when I look at the replays. I still voted for "the catch" though because of the importance of the situation and how he bobbled it. I hate to admit it, but this is the most insane thing I've ever seen on a baseball diamond.
