Those 19 runs scored the rest of the season starting to seem more and more realistic as the innings go by -

Well 2-0 TX early….probably the ballgame -
Good thing for Liam is they know they won’t be competing in 2024 anyways so there won’t be a realistic thought to pick up his option and push that timeline either
-
Was listening to that interview as well.
-
For those of you needing a refresher
-
Because their fall back has always been the AL Central sucks so we are in it until we are not. Personally I want a GM who doesn’t give a damn about what the rest of the division does and puts together a roster that will compete with anyone let alone the AL Central
-
He’s had the tear in the elbow since he was in Oakland, he let that out of the bag last year
-
If I’m the Sox I’m giving Santos the ball at the back end and see how it goes. Leave Kopech where he’s at because we know they aren’t going to sign 3 SP this off season
-
They will reallocate that 13.5M in Jerry’s pockets
-
Still I think Jerry with his cheapness would rather kick that can down the road and only pay him the 1.5 every year until he sells then he can be off the hook for it

Because I know everyone wanted their day brightened that much more. Don’t know if Liam will ever pitch for the Sox again….eeek -
Burger #36 for Miami.
-
Burger hit 25 HRs and was traded, from a team that lacks hitting HRs. Moncada or not, people are naturally going to have issue with that
-
You could do so much with it. Discounts on burgers for every HR he hits or something. It isnt rocket science

Fun promo

Grade Rick Hahn's Trade Deadline Performance
Vote4Pedro replied to South Side Hit Men's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Oh for sure. Grandal should by DFAd yesterday. You should have gotten whatever you could have for TA and Eloy and well unfortunately you are stuck with Moncada. But these core players are your issue. You can blame the manager, blame the front office, blame ownership, yes every single one of those I just named is a problem but your main issue of the rotting apple core that is the Whitesox offense is still in tact as of now. I’d much rather see a second half of new faces than this same ol group who just do not care. -
Grade Rick Hahn's Trade Deadline Performance
Vote4Pedro replied to South Side Hit Men's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Hahn did zero to break up the core of TA, Moncada, Grandal and Eloy. THESE PLAYERS are the ISSUE, sure he sold off the pitching and bullpen but did zero to shake things up on offense outside of getting rid of the one player who was producing offensively for you. So for that Hahn or whoever is in charge right now gets an F. -
Every competitor thinks they can start. Doesn’t mean it’s realistic to do so. I wish I had the time to look it up but I would be interested to see what the biggest innings jump from one season to the next is. However for him to even be an opener and go 3 innings each start it would only take 23 starts to get to a number of 70 innings pitched which he has never done before. He would be at that number of starts at this time next year. That is 7x the amount he’s thrown over the last 2 years. Tough to ask of a guy to do at the MLB level in my opinion.
-
How can anyone honestly expect this? He can’t even reach 70 innings let alone a full workload. Not to mention all that would be required to stretch his arm out since he hasn’t thrown much at all over the past 2 seasons. His innings pitched throughout his career is MLB 2023 - 10 2022- 0 2021 - 54.1 2020 - 6 College 2020- 3.1 2019- 65 2018- 63.2

Grifol on the postgame looks defeated. Move on from this man.
-
They might not score 19 runs let alone win 19 games if they continue that performance
