  1. i would compare it to phegley. not sure if you know phegley's skill set yet though.
  2. this is my favorite quote ever. now i can justify the skill possessed by david eckstein.
  3. what about all of crede's mediocre seasons and all the times he got injured? the love for him on here seems pretty homerific.
  4. agreed. there are NO stats that can measure the scrappyness and grindyness of a player. after all, scrappyness wins championships.
  5. lol, judging individual players by wins. we might as well go resign timo perez. he was with the 2005 white sox AND the 2006 cardinals.
  6. i thought he meant his other hand would be up his butthole
  7. his hand would be on his dick most of the time
  8. Yeah, I am kind of disappointed that he doesn't have this 96 mph fastball that all the scouting reports said he has... I'm not sure if he will be the answer or not, but Clayton went one freaking inning today and hasn't gone too far in any of his recent starts. Something needs to change, might as well try out Poreda.
  9. Every time Clayton starts, our bullpen gets worked... we need to change the 5th starter.
  10. I would be really surprised if Richard starts next week. We cant keep working the bullpen every time he starts. Unless they bring up Carlos Torres or something, I see Poreda starting next week.
  11. Maybe arrogant wasn't the correct word choice. I didn't miss his point. Comparing what I said to the Shaq comment is just flat out stupid. The Shaq comment is sheer stupidity on Hawk's part. CC made it sound like it was challenging for Hawk to use his brain and think that maybe a football player takes more abuse than Shaq. Speaking off the cuff or not, it shouldn't be that hard to think of that. I don't see what is wrong with what I said. People have been saying Viciedo is too big to be at 3rd base. I said he has a similar build as Adrian Beltre, who is a GG 3rd baseman. So yes, there is still hope for a 20 year old Viciedo to be a good 3rd baseman. Comparing that to the Shaq comment is a joke.
  12. umm, i guess you completely missed the point of that post. People have been saying that he is too big to be a 3rd baseman. I was pointing out that he has a similar build to Adrian Beltre, who is a gold glove 3rd baseman. So yes, there is hope that he can become a good 3rd baseman. Good one Controlled Chaos.... Try being less arrogant when you post.
  13. I hope he didn't fall or something... Maybe he forgot to have his life alert on him...
