  3. QUOTE(briguy27 @ May 29, 2007 -> 09:35 PM) OPS has nothing to do with hitting. Holy f*** QUOTE(briguy27 @ May 29, 2007 -> 09:35 PM) OPS is the average of slugging and on base percentage. No. QUOTE(briguy27 @ May 29, 2007 -> 09:35 PM) walking to get on base has nothing to do with hitting Um...hahaha

  6. Jake Peavy Johan Santana Jose Reyes Grady Sizemore Miguel Cabrera
  7. These games are getting harder and harder to watch, they are just no fun at all.
  8. There are like 2 players on this team that I have faith in getting to a ball that is more than 5 feet from where they are standing.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ May 29, 2007 -> 07:51 PM) I have no f***ing clue why he's playing today. Besides for looking pathetic against Bonser last time, there's also reports that his surgically repaired arm/shoulder is causing him pain. Cintron and Gooch are basically the same 4 automatic outs and s*** range in the field.
  10. ARE YOU f***ING SERIOUS WITH THIS s*** TWINS?
  11. QUOTE(RME JICO @ May 28, 2007 -> 07:11 PM) It means absolutely nothing? Come on now. It actually means a lot, by showing there were players on base with less than two outs. The cumulative total shows that they had 23 opportunities with runners on and did not convert. The 12 value does not show that. As a TEAM they had 12 men on that they did not drive in.
  12. QUOTE(RME JICO @ May 28, 2007 -> 06:47 PM) Actually I was wrong, it was 23: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/boxscore.jsp?gid=2...chamlb_minmlb_1 It is a cumulative total. Cumulative total means absolutely nothing. You don't simply add up the players totals, you take the team total cuz in the end that is how many men are left on base at the end of an inning.
  13. QUOTE(RME JICO @ May 28, 2007 -> 06:08 PM) The score could've been much worse - The Twins had 21 LOB. They had 12.
