  1. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 11, 2007 -> 01:46 PM) Well I am not saying Stanford deserves it over Illinois but I will tell you Stanford is the better team. They played in a far superior conference and have quite a few bigger/better wins and there big struggles game with there best player out and he will be back. That said I know that in the end its what you done that matters but if two teams are left they may just go down to whose the better of the two and no one is going to tell me Illinois is a better team than Stanford. f*** no Jason, Stanford is clearly the better team. But that doesn't mean s***.
  2. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 11, 2007 -> 01:14 PM) I've said plenty of times that I don't believe K State belongs in, so I agree completely there. Don't discount Drexel because they play in a "mid major" conference. The top 4 in the Colonial are really, really good. Drexel also has 14 road wins, and 3 against probable tourny teams. The best true road win for the Illini is Northwestern? Minnesota? Penn State? Drexel has losses to RIDER AND WILLIAM & MARY. Illini's worst loss @ Iowa. They do have 14 road wins, but c'mon. 50% of those are against RPI 150+. I am not discrediting their wins @ Nova, Cuse, and Creighton...but those 14 road wins are largely overstated. I'm not really sure why I chose to pick on Drexel, I do think they should be in. Also, why does it seem to be consensus that Purdue is in and Illinois is out.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 11, 2007 -> 12:58 PM) If something is going to keep Illinois out, it's the lack of a marquee win. That simple. Just 1 of many criteria, but apparently this year it's the only one. I just have no idea how 1 very nice win in KState's case can make up for so much suck assness in other areas. Or Drexel, 3 nice wins but 4th place in a mid major conference...
  4. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 11, 2007 -> 12:50 PM) How teams like Stanford and Kansas State are even being considered is beyond me. I'm just holding out hope the committee can see through all this bulls*** unlike all the "experts". Think that is reasonable to hope, or should I expect disappointment?
  5. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 11, 2007 -> 12:41 PM) The only thing that makes Kstate more appealiing is the win at Texas. thats a tough call for the committee. How does a win @ Texas possibly make up like 50 SOS spots, 25 RPI spots and a whole heap of other criteria?
  6. Man the more I think about Kansas State being in over us the more I considering beating the hell out of someone.
  7. And LOL at Lunardi with Kansas State in and Illinois out. I can't find one thing pointing to KState>Ill. -Much better RPI -Wayyyyyy better SOS -Better win % vs. RPI top 50 -We have 0 100+ losses they have 3 -Better record in last 10 What the f*** am I missing?
  8. Not really sure what the deal is with anyone having Stanford over Illinois. But we shall see.
  9. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM f***ING PUMPED b****ESSSSSSSS
  10. I could give a s*** if the Cubs players hate AJ but damn, at least be creative ya dips***s...those are awful.
  11. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 10:00 PM) Final line.. 20pts 19reb (8off 11def) 1 stl 2 blks (I thought he had 3 but they didnt count it) 4 straight double doubles. The change of scenery has really helped him. Really his numbers are no surprise based on his Chicago numbers with the additional minutes he is getting with the Hornets.
  12. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Feb 23, 2007 -> 11:26 PM) If I ever caught the HR ball which eclipses Aaron, I'd do something outrageous like write "Roids" in permanent market then throw it back on the field. What's awesome is no one would know what to do with it. Can't just throw that baseball away, but neither could you send it to Cooperstown. No you wouldn't.
  13. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 03:21 PM) Haeger really needs to throw more strikes. I believe he started every count 2-0. That wouldn't fare too well as a reliever with those type of starts. Damn, I guess I should have been paying more attention. All I noticed was 3 relatively weak outs.
  14. Besides the homer that was a great inning for Haeger. I like.
  15. QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 03:16 PM) Congrats to Creighton, they simply outplayed us! I feel like death rite now Much bigger fish to fry.
  16. AND YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD............YES Damn that felt good...
  17. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 10:12 AM) Jimbo, didn't I totally call Belmont earlier this year? I remember mentioning Belmont as a possibility a while back, but I have no idea where.
  18. QUOTE(Soxy @ Mar 2, 2007 -> 11:34 AM) Where is the pain? Do you have a history of sinus problems/allergies? Are you under a lot of stress? It's like right in the cheeks I guess if I had to describe it. No history of allergies. Not too much stress either. As far as sinuses go I am told I don't breathe out of my nose when I sleep, all mouth.
  19. I realize not many here are doctors but I figure I will give this a shot anyway since it's a weird thing to search for on google. Just about everyday I wake up with facial pain and a slight headache. Really makes no sense at all. Anyone got any clue wtf that might be?
