QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 12, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) I agree that GARPAX aren't who I'd choose at the helm. I'd prefer to have the God Appointed Hand that the Lakers have to make everything work. That said, Rose's injury makes their decisions look quite a bit worse. I think this team could have had really good success getting the Heat when the Celtics did, but we didn't, instead we have a year without our superstar. Mostly, I just don't mind taking a wash next year. It'll give us a playoff team and maybe a nice round of basketball with Derrick back. This isn't an interesting offseason to me, I don't like the idea of blowing it up to play for a draft pick, I think we'll be better served seeing what the hell is going on next year. While the injury has changed things, on the other side of that coin...where would this franchise be without the extremely lucky lottery win of Derrick Rose? Which was pretty much as big of a fluke as his torn ACL. So with his injury you are just about looking at the roster they would have assembled. The only reason this franchise is at all in any sort of title contention is because of that lottery, which doesn't exactly inspire further faith in their ability to make decisions.

I have no issue with Thibs. It's my distrust in the Bulls front office and the bumbling tandem of GarPax that I don't have faith in going forward. What moves are they going to make to align the Bulls with teams like the Heat who will still continue to have 3 star players and championship experience going forward? We ain't winning a ring with Rose Deng Boozer Noah and a scrappy hard nosed defensive bench. We had our best chance at that and it's gone. And I don't wanna hear about any bulls*** "20XX plan" or that s*** like KC Johnson has started spewing. I have zero faith in the Bulls ability to attract upper echelon free agents.

Guys guys stop being crazy and advocating risk taking!! We gotta stay the course with our core and hopefully catch every break in a season to maybe win 1 title didn't you know!

I'd rather not get pointlessly strung along and given false hope than get a courtesy mention in his top 10. If it obviously wasn't going to happen I'd rather know now, as I'm sure the staff would as well. -
Nevertheless, he is an awful rebounding big man
-
This team is going to be extremely devoid of 3 point shooting

The Bulls are decimating the bench mob to stay under the luxury tax while matching Asik, bottom line

Michael Cunningham @ajchawks Source says #Hawks had interest in #Bulls F Kyle Korver but he's likely headed to Minnesota in trade
-
K.C Johnson @KCJHoop Hinrich. RT @ZachLowe_SI: Bulls cutting ties with Brewer (for now) and shopping Korver seem prelude to Asik match. Who plays SG behind Rip? lolZ #BullsMouthPiece

KW whining about (OK bringing up) attendance again

Well that, and the Bears built the NFL's smallest stadium. -
I don't see them turning Luke Walton, Armon Johnson, Shelden William, Damion James, 2 draft picks all but guaranteed to be later than 25, and another 1st all but guaranteed to be later than 20 into any sort of superstar or even anything better than a late lottery pick.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 11:14 AM) I haven't heard of any better offers. Then in that case I think letting him walk > Brook Lopez on a max deal, crippling contract. And I'm sure the Lakers and Rockets have SOME offer that has been on the table. Risking acquiring an injury-risk, poor rebounding, low D presence max contract center in order to gain LATE first round draft picks is pretty dicey.
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 11:08 AM) The Lopez thing I agree, but getting some scrubs and some 1st round picks that you can trade for lottery picks is better than letting the guy walk and getting zero for it at the end of this year (plus all the drama that he'll bring this entire season). Obviously that is better than letting him walk but it doesn't mean its the best possible deal available.
-
Someone drill their GM over the head and remind him he is trading a HoF center and top 5 NBA player in his prime. You don't get back Brook f***ing Lopez on a max deal, 4 other players ranging from awful to useless and multiple draft picks that will be buried at the end of the first round.
-
I too am interested if anyone has any keyboard recommendations for iPad 2. And I love Apple products!
-
Taking back Brook Lopez on a max deal and not ridding yourselves of Hedo's contract in a Howard trade would strike me as a pretty poor GM'ing job.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 03:34 PM) Flip a coin for which one (Danks or Humber) goes in the rotation when they're back, cuz Quintana's here to stay. Yeahhhhh, if I'm choosing between Danks and Humber I don't think any coin flipping will be occuring

There's just very minimal hope of beating out Yu, purely based on the trending topics alone

#VoteYu is a top 5 worldwide trend, #TakeJake isn't top 10

If they do keep Pau (haven't read much what their intentions are roster wise since the Nash move), he is going to benefit incredibly from the addition.
