Hmm, big play from the ND defense. Ooo, he didn't have control when he stepped out. Should be overturned. LSU shows ND how special teams trick plays are done -

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 08:29 PM) You're following the DePaul game too? We're about to lose to st freakin' johns shooting less than 30% and about 50% from the line with the patented stand-around-and-go-1-on-1 jerry wainwright offense. Pa-f'in-thetic Could be worse... you would be losing to Michigan by 9... This is a f***ing joke. CORRECTION: Down 12. -

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 05:15 PM) Open up against Michigan tonight. If we don't win, we could be looking at a quick 0-2 in conference play. And the first 3 game skid in Bruce's tenure. We gotta win this one. -

1. I have been thrown out of a youth baseball game I wasn't playing in. (my brothers Pony league game) 2. The last 3 Bears games I have been to were all against the Eagles, and all were losses. (Playoffs, Champaign, 2 years ago) 3. I have been ejected from a YMCA basketball game, and came real close in Little League. 4. I have ridiculous nervous habits including picking my nails off until they bleed and tossing the remote in the air repeatedly. (I'm f***ed up) 5. I have only been to 7 MLB stadiums but within the next 5 years I will have seen them all.

Apparently Mike Locksley is a finalist for the Central Michigan job, please noooooooo. And wow that Saban is one loyal dude, thank God the Bears couldn't sign him years back. -
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 12:04 AM) Who do you want the Bears to play? Seattle, Dallas, or New York? Giants, please.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 11:18 PM) He's definitely a canidate. Along with guys like Dirk, Duncan, Boozer, Kobe, Lebron. But damn, Nash is sick. He's shooting over 50% from the field AND from 3. He's up over 20 ppg. He's, of course, leading the league in dimes. He just gets better with age. Agreed. It seems like Nash gets random dislike from some circles because he is "not worthy" of being a "2-time MVP winner". Whatever the hell that means, Nash is just unbelievable. Skiles loves Nash: -
This game is soooo sick, love it.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 09:57 AM) How so? UM was the higher ranked team and were supposed to win the Rose Bowl, they could have locked on to 3rd or 2nd and a preseason #1 if they won, thats all. Because a UM solid win over USC for 2 scores or so would have given the UM fans and people around the country a legit claim to play in the championship, instead they fell on their face. I'm not saying UM would have the right to complain but you know it would happen. -

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 05:29 PM) http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=261001020 Should have used Pennington's noodle to throw a 70 yard hail mary instead of attempting something that almost worked and sure as hell scared the Colts. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/recap?gid=200512280023 Not really sure why this is a debate unless you want it to be one. Scraping for examples of 2 plays that occur rarely, oh well. Obviously the hail mary is the answer from around 50 yards, but any distance farther is impossible with the obvious exception being one particular Kentucky defender totally misplaying the situation. Anyway enough of this pointless banter from me, still got a game and half left of quality football. -

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 03:48 PM) Iowa should have lateraled against LSU 2 years ago. Yeah, and the Saints should have thrown a Hail Mary a few years ago in the game when Carney missed the XP. And Tate's pass was 56 yards, and as I already said, you should attempt a Hail Mary from 50 yards... -

QUOTE(danman31 @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 03:41 PM) Lateralling down the field never, ever works. Hail mary is more likely to have the defense screw up. Ya because when you throw a hail mary 80 yards and its 40 yards short of the end zone even if you catch it you're only half way to the endzone. 4 WR's going deep against 8 DB's whose only job is to prevent a catch is s***ty s***ty odds. At least when you are lateraling something freakish could happen, unlike a hail mary where the QB can't even heave it half way. I understand a Hail Mary from 50 yards or closer but from 80 yards it's just retarded. w00t West Virginia wins. Crazy 2nd half. I Slaton and White - too bad Slaton couldn't play. -

WHY THE f*** DO TEAMS ALWAYS TRY AND THROW 80 YARD HAIL MARYS INSTEAD OF TRYING TO LATERAL ALL THE WAY DOWN FIELD? YOU ARENT GONNA f***ING THROW IT 80 YARDS ON A FLY. Sorry, just bugs the f*** out of me.
