  1. If Toronto truly does flip Jackson that could get really interesting
  2. MDGonzales Mark Gonzales De Aza in Sox's lineup, batting 8thr
  3. Haha, interesting: SI_JonHeyman Jon Heyman #dbacks talking to blue jays about jason frasor. Could happen.
  4. It's funny because if all of the sudden it turned out we were getting a nice young prospect back it would be pretty cool, but it's not even worth considering that that would happen
  5. Ken_Rosenthal Ken Rosenthal Sources tell @jonmorosi that #WhiteSox-#BlueJays deal is close. Jackson, Teahen to TOR. Frasor-plus to CWS. Money could be in deal. #MLB
  6. QUOTE (kapzk @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 09:17 AM) Over on the Jays board, they speak of 1B David Cooper who wasn't in the lineup last night and was filled in by Adam Loewen who is Las Vegas' regular RF. David Cooper is a pretty decent prospect by looking at his #s in AAA. That would seem too good to be true... .367/.434/.564/.999, 39! 2Bs, 41 BB:30 K
  7. Bears moving quickly on signing their own draft picks. J.T. Thomas, 6th round LB, has signed along with the QB Enderle. And apparently a deal with the safety Conte will be done shortly.
  8. Uh oh: Ken_Rosenthal Ken Rosenthal Sources: #WhiteSox in serious talks on EJax, Teahen to #BlueJays for Frasor and prospect. Danks, Floyd also on market. #tradedeadline #MLB
  9. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 04:35 PM) Or maybe the point of the tweet was that after Floyd being scheduled to start Friday, it says "TBA" for the next projected starter. Yeah I gotcha on the TBA but Edwin would have never been scheduled Friday
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 04:49 PM) Willie, they're talking about next saturday. Next saturday's starter should be Jackson but it is listed as TBA. s*** I'm out of it I thought people were referring to Floyd pitching Friday. EDIT- In my defense it was said in another thread that Jackson was "missing his Friday start" which would have been Floyd's all along
  11. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 04:25 PM) Edwin NOT scheduled to make his start for us on Friday. Could be a sign? I don't see how that's anything abnormal with the rotation. Floyed pitched before Jackson. Floyd, Jackson, Buehrle, Peavy, Danks...Floyd...
  12. Isn't that in order? Friday-Floyd Sunday-Jackson Monday-Buehrle Tuesday-Peavy Wednesday-Danks Friday-Floyd ?
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 26, 2011 -> 02:07 PM) Oops, my bad. No worries, I honestly thought I had just missed something entirely anyways. As far as the Bears and WRs go, I feel like while we would obviously benefit from landing a standout FA WR, if we were to solidify the offensive line our offense would benefit far more.
  14. It's Roy Williams the WR, not the safety. Unless you are talking about someone else entirely.
  15. And because they have a gaping offensive hole at 3B.
  16. SI_JonHeyman Jon Heyman rasmus a #chisox goal (as @JoeStrauss reported). but match w/ #stlcards may not be there. #tradedeadline
  17. BradBiggs Brad Biggs I was just told four teams have "legitimate interest" in free agent center Olin Kreutz. #Bears skjensen Sean Jensen Hearing #Bears may be interested in Jacksonville Jaguars LB Justin Durant. He has 42 starts in last four seasons.
  18. skjensen Sean Jensen And continue to hear Steve Weatherford will replace Brad Maynard as #Bears punter I'm down.
  19. Sorry Mark, but go f*** yourself. Signed, Your defense
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 25, 2011 -> 09:55 AM) Don't the Bears need to worry about a lot of in-house re-signings that will take that s***load down to a nominal amount? A couple, but nothing too outrageous. Kreutz needs to be resigned for sure as well as Anthony Adams. Those are the only two that seem to be pretty-sure re-signs. Manning, Graham, and Rashied Davis could be re-signed. Nick Roach will probably come back but that won't be expensive.
