  1. Who the f*** was the mediocre infielder on the Tigers early 2000s I wanna say that Hawk always said "swung the magic wand" against us?

  3. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jun 13, 2011 -> 01:13 PM) I agree with someone who posted earlier. Impossible and futile to compare players from different eras, with different rules, different training methods. And the solution to this? compare players RELATIVE TO THEIR ERA.
  4. All this debate just makes me remember how much I loved reading "The Book of Basketball".
  5. Can't help but feel like we were watching the greatest player in NBA history right there, MJ-esque performance from LBJ
  6. As Bill Simmons wrote, the Heat pre-season intro part is officially "permanently funny".
  7. You really gotta credit Lebron for trying to get his teammates involved here...a
  8. Lebron has scored 3 more points in the last TWO GAMES COMBINED than Jordan's career low in a single finals game. Scottie Pippen...FTL!
  9. He shot 8 of 19 and attempted 2 free throws. The greatest basketball player on the planet, regardless of assist and rebound numbers, should probably be carrying more of a scoring load when his team needs him most. End of story.
  10. When the game was tied at 100, LBJ missed, turned it over, and missed. 105-100.
  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 10, 2011 -> 10:04 AM) http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/break...93495.htmlstory Im not sure why in the world Wade would think doing things like that is a good idea, but sometimes you just dont want to mess with karma. And the reason Lebron isnt posting more is because if he goes below the ft line he draws an immediate double team, so last night he was trying to spread the floor and facilitate offense. If you want to complain about any aspect of his game, it would have been 3 point shooting and that he maybe should have passed more. Even if Lebron only scored 17, he had 10 assists, which means that he contributed to at minimum 37 points for the Heat. And no one is even mentioning that Lebron is basically playing 45+ minutes every single night. His mocking is even funnier when you considering this http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/mia...tory?id=6563197
  12. It would be nice if ESPNU would take this blow out game off the air and show the ILL/UCSF game
  13. That was truly a moronic caught stealing
  14. I was on the train that got hit and derailed at Union Station today. I was actually sitting on the car that got hit it was pretty intense the doors were caved in people were freaking out a 35 week pregnant woman almost went into labor on the train
  15. That Starks story is complete garbage. Gabriel trying to throw stones since he can't get a job in the NFL. Oh my goodness he ran the ball 29 times for 101 yards in the regular season and then had one big playoff game. However will the Bears survive without this surefire super star? The 6th round of the draft is a crapshoot. It's almost comical that he was clearly just waiting for one good game to publish that piece...and it came in the 18th week of the season. Good job Greg Gabriel...have fun ever getting a NFL GM or executive to ever trust you.
  16. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 11:35 PM) He did not say that. No, he did. http://twitter.com/#!/kingjames
  17. WOW. Lebron is a f***ING EPIC DOUCHE BAG "Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!"

  19. I would say that was a fairly obvious travel, I don't really give a f*** because the team is pathetic regardless. Weber is so incredibly inflexible. His tenure has been incredibly underwhelming and his offense is pitiful unless 3s are falling.
  20. I really despise watching Paul play a lot of the time.
