  1. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:14 PM) Look at Miami.. they ahve Floridas fertile recruiting grounds yet cant get in the BCS or win the conference. They got destroyed by LSU and they dont look like the Miami's of old. Coker is no Butch Davis.. and the only times hes won its becase hes leeched of Davis' players.
  2. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:07 PM) Larry Cokers staff (whats left of it haha) isnt that good at making players good. Please explain.
  3. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:05 PM) Hes going to run a 4.2-4.3 40 yard dash. Can we sign him up to return out Kicks and Punts? Yes definitely a great KR/PR guy. But as a corner? No thanks.
  4. Just curious why does everyone rate Devin Hester so high?
  5. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 08:12 PM) Just Wondering... who would that be? I'm curious about who people think is the top DB in this draft. JWill, Youboty, Hill, Marshall, Jennings, Cromartie
  6. There are quite a few corners I would take over Alan Zem
  7. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 08:16 AM) One movie I wanted to throw out there, I am not sure if it is 2005 or not, but is Life Aquatic. That was the first Bill Murray movie I have ever hated. Horrible. ^^^^^^^^ I couldn't even watch the whole thing, it was so damn boring.
  8. Pretty self-explanatory for me. Willie Harris > You
  9. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 03:28 PM) What is funny is that the first game was much closer than people are making it sound. Car Chi 1st Downs 13 15 Total Yards 238 258 Passing 183 136 Rushing 55 122 Penalties 7-62 9-75 3rd Down 4-17 3-13 4th Down 1-2 0-0 Turnovers 2 1 Possession 29:18 30:42 Chicago's scoring drives: 3 plays 8 yards, 4 plays 3 yards, 8 plays 44 yards. Yes it seems close statistically but when you watch the game you see Carolina was never really in the game.
  10. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 03:39 PM) Firing Mallory as DC was as big as any recruit he may land. No doubt about that.
  11. The Bulls are destroying the Raptors tonight at the UC. When they shoot well from the outside they are tough to beat...when they don't they are f***ed.
  12. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 09:42 AM) Couple days old, but wasn't posted in here. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/cs-06...hool-newspapers Some good recruiting stuff in there, mainly that 4 star OL Ramone Johnson of Morgan Park has narrowed his list to the Illini and Tennessee. That would be a BIG get.
  13. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 06:14 PM) Nah, he broke the wrist punching that God forsaken wall 2 or 3 weeks before the season. Yup.
  14. QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Brian Randle received one from last year even though he played in a few games at the very start of the year as well. He did?
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 10:02 PM) You were the one who said UCONN was by far the best team in college basketball, right? f***ing Strickland turned the whole game around against you guys tonight. Dumbass.
  16. Thinks he's funny but in reality makes awful jokes
  17. Look whose back in the 8 seed in the East. Must win tommorrow vs. Toronto.
  18. QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 01:33 PM) I cannot wait until he gets sacked 5 times and throws 3 INT a game. Or when he goes... 15-20, 200 YDS, 2 TD 150 rushing yards, 2 TD
  19. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:13 PM) The Giants scare the absolute hell out of me as a Bears fan. Tiki Barber = AMAZING and I do think the Bears have a weakness when it comes to the run. I know it hasn't necessarily shown at times, but if you can run outside you can have some sort of success (ie Samkon Gado). But I guess I'm the only one who was worried at how easily the Packers shredded our defense (not once, but twice). Luckily we were able to force some turnovers. However, we did whoop the Falcons but that isn't saying much considering they absolutely folded down the stretch. I especially like the way our corners match up with the Giants WR's. Also the Giants LB's are decimated which should bode well for TJ.
  20. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 6, 2006 -> 07:56 PM) 170 and 169 vs 122 and 102 Where exactly does the disparity come from? I have been wondering that myself. I am pretty sure NFL team coach staffs count tackles significantly different than places like NFL.com and ESPN.com
  21. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 6, 2006 -> 07:41 PM) I went with the article on top of the page and doublechecked on NFL.com. I would expect that'd be good enough. 170 was blasted all over Fox the last game of the season. Tackle stats are far from official, teams count them much differently than websites.
