For anyone who knows s*** about taxes, finances, moves, etc...would that reported tax story even make any sense for something Lebron would do if he was moving to Chicago?
-
I too refuse to believe the report of a failed presentation. If anything I feel JA read/saw the "do you dare?" video/shoe/presentation/etc. and interpreted it himself to be a bad idea.
-
Once again I'm just passing along information, damn people

JA Adande said on ESPN 1000 that the Bulls bombed their presentation to Lebron

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:48 PM) Uh, nothing on there says anything about LeBron James. I just see lots of money, but that could be anyone's. I'm well aware of that and pointed it out just snaked it off a Cavs board

Heres a supposed screen shot of the tax s***, no idea what were looking at besides a Chicago address but passing along anyway: http://yfrog.com/50lebronpropj

ITS COMING TOGETHER. KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE

Bucher: News that should make Bulls' fans happy on espn.com shortly.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:19 PM) That is why I'm hoping. I really hope all this New York spin is just that, spin, and that the Bulls FO is quiet and Lebron is quiet and ultimately he'll be coming to Chicago to battle it up with Wade, etc. I'm probably wrong, but I refuse to say it is 100% that Lebron is not coming to Chicago. Especially since people in Cleveland seem to think he might be leaving Cleveland. Also, evidently, the event is in Connecticut because it needed to be close to Bristol. Why they wouldn't have done it at ESPN headquarters is something I wonder, but if it is at a local Boys and Girls club in the CT area than I don't see it necessarily meaning anything. Thank you God someone who shares my optimism on the Bulls silence.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:15 PM) Why have we heard absolutely nothing from the Bulls. If we are out, why haven't we heard that we are doing XYZ? You certainly would think we would have moved on. I know we are apparently in contact with other FA's but I would think if we were out on Lebron we'd already be jumping all over other people. Agreed. We obviously know lebron is signing here and are sticking to our word with him to keep everything mum.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:13 PM) So out of all people a Chicago Bulls front office person would send a text to, it would be a New York reporter? I don't buy it. Same there, that makes absolutely zero sense.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:50 PM) The free agent class of this year has managed to make Kobe Bryant seem likable (although ideally, the actually likable in general Kevin Durant will get a few rings soon). Durant is the most lovable man in the NBA

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) Well if that's true I hope LeBron enjoys never winning s***. 100% agreed. It's f***ing weird how it was supposedly narrowed down to a few teams, then as soon as he "announced" that he was making his decision, every team is supposedly alive.

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:25 PM) They were in the playoffs before Bosh got hurt and missed the bulk of the last 6 games and they finished 2-4, on a team that allowed 106 PPG nonetheless. If they had an actual center to play next to him up front instead of a small forward like Bargnani, they'd have been far more sucessful. And they would have been quite a ways out of the picture had the Bulls not suffered any injuries. I'm not denying Bosh is a great player, but that team should have been a playoff team

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:23 PM) More than any other source, if Jared Dudley said it's the Knicks, I believe him. He's one of the most "connected" players in the NBA. Or he wanted to gain thousands of followers, or he takes Amare's word as gospel

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:18 PM) Isn't Lee a significantly better passer? I'm not saying Bosh isn't better than Lee on offense though, but Bosh reminds me of the type of guy who's just out there to get his points, and not worry how the team performs. That's a fact, Toronto's missing of the playoffs this past year was embarrassing

FisolaNYDN Can't confirm this but a Knicks source claims the location may be Allan Houston's house. Wow

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 01:48 PM) is that not where espn is headquartered? Nah that's Bristol, CT
-
Greenwich, CT is where LBJ's decision will be announced

I really believe if the Bulls thought they were f***ed they'd be doing a lot more crisis control and spinning. But hey f*** me for hanging on to hope.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:41 PM) I'm going to laugh my ass off if we overpay for Boozer or Lee. We've already got the most overpaid SF in the league. Why not have the most overpaid SF AND PF!!! Gay is far more overpaid than Deng

QUOTE (beckham15 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:25 PM) the bulls actions pretty much are self explanitory....you would think if the bulls seriously thought lebron might come to chicago they'd have a big man locked up to entice him more to come....but they dont.... Well that would be impossible since they can't sign 2 maxes for sure, so maybe they would actually want to have him before they ship off pieces to clear the final cap space.. It's not like locking up Boozer now or Saturday makes any difference
