I don't mind the negativity when it's warranted. And it surely is with the state of the organization. It just has come to dominate and overwhelm any value added conversation here. One can craft nuanced posts picking apart why the Vargas trade sucked. See Timmy U for instance on warning signs, red flags, and prospect evaulation. Compare that to someone like Whitesox2023 whose posts consist of "Lol Getz Sucks!" or "Coulda had Keaschall!" Dude could be replaced with a bot or a soundboard and no one could tell the difference. There are so many posters here whose takes I enjoy reading. It's a shame those posts often drown amongst so much s%*# posting. But yea. I suppose I'm whining about the whiners. I guess I should accept it will be this way until/if the organization manages to right the ship.

There's no shot Anthony is on the table. Especially with how teams value high end position players currently. That being said, Boston has plenty of interesting pieces. I wonder if the Sox would have interest in Braden Montgomery as part of a package.

I don't think there are that many folks here that are under the illusion that Getz is killing it. But we just don't feel the need to rapid fire post about how s%*# everything is at every waking hour. Those posts are just exhausting and hardly add any value to the message board. It doesn't drive me to want to read or even engage.

Yep. There is no reason to spend on free agents this offseason. Invest internally. They desperately need to create something that is somewhat self sustaining on the minor league player development side. Especially with position players.
