I hate comps myself as well, but all you need to do to get some White Sox folks hot and bothered is utter "Aaron Rowand."

People loved Trout on this board because there was a bunch of Aaron Rowand comps.

I think Prielipp and Whisenhunt are the two college arms I'm most into. Then Horton. If we could walk away with one of those and a nice prep piece with the second round pick I'd be pretty happy I think.

He didn't. He's been a bright spot in a tough situation this season. Pretty much went from AA to the majors after his stuff ticked up. He's surely going to have growing pains as he continues to develop at the major league level, but at least he's a guy that has emerged.

Yup. Put those numbers up in AA and the conversation changes.

He looks so good at the plate. He's also actually walking more and striking out less in A+ than in A ball so far. Small sample obviously, but he hasn't missed a beat since his promotion.

I dunno about Tidwell. Shoulders make me nervous. I do like Snelling though.
