  1. Ramos works a walk. Sure seems like they aren't giving him much to hit lately. Plenty of breaking junk out of the zone and away.
  2. Wilber Sanchez inside the park HR. That's fun.
  3. I think it's really encouraging how comfortable he seems to be throwing the breaking stuff. And he throws strikes. The fastball sits around 92 MPH per the broadcast, but it sure seems like he has the frame to add size and some velocity. Baseball America's scouting report notes as much.
  4. Mena done. 4.2 IP 5 H 2 ER 3 BB 9 SO
  5. Mena strikes out the side. 8 strikeouts through 4.
  6. Groundout, double, walk, and two strikeouts in the 3rd for Mena.
  7. If I had to describe Andrew Dalquist starts in one word, it would be "laborious."
  8. Alsander Womack is a uniquely shaped second baseman.
  9. Second inning for Mena includes a wall scraper HR, a walk, a groundout, a single, and 2 fly outs.
  10. Mena gives up a single, walks one, but also strikes out three in the first.
  11. No Moncada tonight.
  12. He's injured per Jimmy.
  13. Some quick observations and blurbs on some guys. - Seems really high on Sterlin Thompson. - Very high on Collier. - Higher than most on Jett Williams. Calls him a "fun sized hitter." - Super low on Jacob Berry. Calls him a future DH. - Cermak not in his top 100. - Walter Ford is called "The Vanilla Missile?" - Joyce not in his top 100 (Not surprising). - Thinks Landom Sims is likely a reliever. Collier: Gilbert: Schultz: Cannon: Whisenhunt: Hjerpe:
  14. Law posted his big board. Will post the top 30, plus some of the positions on guys that we've discussed. https://theathletic.com/3291481/2022/05/05/mlb-draft-prospects-ranking-druw-jones/
  15. James retweeted this with the Sox connection on Roman Anthony again.
  16. Colas, where art thou?
  17. No worries. I only post them up if a game I'm interested in is starting and I have no where to spam things I find exciting.
  18. Had to step out for a bit to prepare for going to the Hurricanes game tonight. Came back just in time to see DJ Gladney walk it off in the 9th. He finished the day 4 - 5 with a 2B. Krogman finished 2 - 3 with a BB. Solid first game back.
  19. Krogman with an opposite field single in his return. Apparently he was rehabbing in some Arizona games?
  20. Gladney follows that with a hard hit double to score Kath.
