  1. Jose Rodriguez walks it off. Fun prospect.
  2. Burger singles up the middle after a nice 11 pitch AB.
  3. He's mentioned as a possibility with like 5 teams that pick before them. Wouldn't be surprised.
  4. I'm pretty sure only MLB pipeline considered him the #1 prospect. Either way I imagine they are easing him into it. Hopefully he plays the field soon.
  5. Cespedes sure has gotten hit by pitches a lot.
  6. Also worth noting from BA's mock today.
  7. New BA Mock today. https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/mlb-mock-draft/
  8. I like Law's mention of Pacheco. I dislike Law's mention of Petty. Also has Trey Sweeney going to Minny at 26.
  9. I think the consensus is that you won't be able to get Hoglund at a discount. He's seeking money in line with where he would be selected before his injury. I would love for him to be selected though. Getting a top 10 talent (albeit with some risk) at 22 would be amazing.
  10. This thread has taken an odd turn.
  11. New Pipeline mock. https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-mock-draft-june-23-2021?t=mlb-draft-coverage Usual suspects, but also a mention of Max Muncy for the first time. Montgomery is mentioned as a possibility with a bunch of teams prior to the White Sox pick.
  12. In case anyone was wondering, they are definitely checking pitchers in the minors for foreign substances between innings as well. Just saw it in Kanny.
  13. Cespedes gets his first minor league hit with a single.
  14. Jose "Popeye" Rodriguez laces a double down the LF line in his first AB.
  15. Thank you. I checked the score after reading the thread. Was surprised it was actually a tie game based off the reactions here.
  16. Wow. Is this game as bad as the game-thread is making it sound? Or is this just typical game-thread misery enhanced by the losing streak?
  17. Pilkington with 3 Ks through 2.0 IP. Bloom hasn't mentioned velocity yet that I've noticed.
  18. Dalquist gets a strikeout on a nice slider to start the 4th. Then walks a batter, gets a groundout, and walks another batter. Finishes off the inning with a full count strikeout on the slider again. Fastball command still continues to elude him. According to the booth the fastball has been at 94. I imagine he's done now.
