  1. Be warned. Picks will get spoiled here. They come out via twitter sources slightly ahead of the actual selection and are posted. If you don't want to be spoiled maybe don't refresh until a pick is made.
  2. Also, GTFO if you care about spoilers. Like every year, the picks are going to hit twitter before TV, and they get posted here. Fair warning.
  3. So is this thread going to continue for actual selections? Or a different one?
  4. That prospect live site that fathom posted now says. No idea how credible they are. https://www.prospectslive.com/mlb-draft/2020/6/8/live-rumor-updates-mlb-draft-day
  5. BA just tweeted about the possibility of Miami going a different direction. Might prefer Meyer to Lacy.
  6. He was incredible early this season. It's truly a shame we didn't get to see more him. The velocity he added was crazy.
  7. Law has a new mock up. Nothing new on the White Sox. Still Crochet.
  8. I'd be kinda meh on that. Like Harold said, maxed out prep arms with little projection left are real scary. It's such a risky demographic. I'd much prefer that risk in a later round if possible.
  9. Longenhagen mock. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/mock-draft-3-0-the-day-of/
  10. Will be getting a Longehagen mock soon. Callis is going to file an updated names only mock as well.
  11. Whats with you having to compare all draft prospects to failed White Sox picks?
  12. I feel like Hancock and Gonzales are two players that could fall tonight. Maybe not to 11, but fall nonetheless.
  13. Callis said he wants to tear up his mock at this point. Might get a new one.
  14. On Twitter Jimmy suggests all this Crochet smoke might be the standard draft day misdirection.
  15. BA's mock through 11 that went up earlier today. Detmers goes 12th to Cinci if anyone was wondering.
  16. In case anyone wanted Law's mock through 11 see below.
  17. Also regarding Crochet. I wouldn't be surprised (unless there are still injury concerns) if he pitches out of the bullpen this season if selected. Publications seem to think you are going to see some of the highly regarded college arms deployed in the pen during the shortened season. Max Meyer being the one that is mentioned most. Crochet has a similar profile and the stuff to pull it off.
  18. I've come around on Crochet. I get it. If you hit on him, you could have a big payoff. If not, you are probably getting an impact reliever with that stupid fastball/slider combo anyways. That's nothing to sneeze at. Couple that with under-slot and some big value like Kelley with pick number 2, and I'm real happy.
  19. Should take: Abel Will take: Detmers I like Abel more, but think Detmers is still a fine pick.
  20. He certainly looks like a dude. His report is pretty glowing too.
  21. All of these guys sound pretty good to me based off BA reports. Particularly Cotto, Horvath and Baulmer. What's the knock on Horvath though? Contact issues?
