  1. I did not. I guess I just kind of assumed Griffin was truly a bat based off the write-ups. PJ Morlando sure sounds fun from a power/hit perspective. Can't say I love a prep guy that's already being earmarked as a 1B though. Wish he was a sure thing corner OF. Guy that I've been reading about more and more lately that I'm into is Bonemer. Whole lot to like in this:
  2. I keep parroting this, but they have a ton of interesting guys outside of Dominguez/Jones. Hampton/Arias would be two pieces I'd love to acquire. I think I'd prefer them to Jones even. Work in some combination of Lombard/Warren/Lalane if you need to. A deal with the Yankees could do wonders for the farm system.
  3. BA updated their top 2024 draft rankings today. Through 15 below. Still not in love with the mix of players at the top of the class. Konnor Griffin still sounds the most exciting to me. Will definitely be checking out Brecht starts as well. Hope some toolsy up the middle guys emerge and push their way up.
  4. I would be totally cool with a Yankees package centered around Hampton, Arias, and Lombard/Lalane. I still think there is a deal out there to be made with NY.
  5. Anyone in the NL central now wanna jump in on the Cease market?
  6. 34th pick in the draft too. Comp pick. That makes it a bit better. Extra bonus pool money to play with is not to be sneezed at.
  7. That's what I was thinking. Could go all in. I don't think Elias has the balls though.
  8. Actually love this from an Orioles perspective. Good get. Didn't hurt much at all.
  9. Does this push the Yankees to get Snell leaving Getz s%*# out of luck?
  10. I'm with you. Bat only profile. I'd be pretty underwhelmed.
  11. Methinks the organization should continue to let Shirley pick the prep guys he likes.
  12. Darn. Back to our regularly scheduled waiting for Montgomery/Snell to sign.
  13. Lack of understanding aside, if Emerson/Ford/Young aren't on the table, I would like Celesten to be a part of the package.
  14. Yea. That's the understanding I'm lacking from a Mariner's perspective.
  15. Is it weird that I would prefer not so much of the value in a return be tied up in the pitching piece? IE Woo? If dealing with the Mariners I'd really like to pry into that bucket of Young/Emerson/Ford somehow.
  16. Think I'd pass on the guy with a 30 hit tool. Sounds like there is a ton of work to do there with him. Not sure I trust the Sox to develop that. Though I guess he'd be fine as a final lotto ticket piece.
  17. Not a huge fan of MLB Pipeline's rankings personally. I'd take Emerson over Gonzalez any day of the week.
  18. Not really going out on a limb there. ?
