I'm not against Jared playing in the AFL, but it should be merely to get more reps and to work on the glaring red flag that is his strikeout problem.

Hawk with another dig at Ozzie regarding Morel's playing time.

He doesn't have much of a third pitch, and by this point it's apparent the Sox don't think he would be an effective starter. He has the chance to be a very good high leverage relief pitcher though. He's certainly a candidate to be called up at anytime really. I'd have no qualms if he replaced Bruney. I also wouldn't mind if he's allowed to hone his craft the rest of the year in the minors.
