  1. There goes Reed. Signability is the key obviously.
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 07:12 PM) Yeah, they have one of the best records in the MLB for the last 10 years, so they've never drafted highly. Oh, wait, that IS our excuse. But that doesn't count. Not drafting highly is a pretty worthless excuse for not having an even average farm system. Plenty of other teams are able to accomplish such feats.
  3. Nimmo to the Mets. This means that regime has finally decided to draft for upside, and will actually pay for it. Nimmo won't be cheap. Must be nice.
  4. Brewers need absolutely everything. Milwaukee's farm system might be worse than ours.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 07:05 PM) What do you know about Springer, Dirty? Don't know much about him myself. Not much except hes a toolsy OF. I don't remember reports on his defense though. Either him or Mahtook have questions on sticking in CF.
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 06:59 PM) Meh, bad pick by the Pads, IMO. Spangenberg can hit. He had major helium at the latter portion of this season.
  7. Before I get disgusted by the Red Sox buying the elite falling talent, I really hope someone else picks Josh Bell. His power potential is just ridiculous.
  8. Not a bad pick. Elite bat speed. High upside.
  9. I hope we get a balls crazy pick from the Cubs like last year. They have been in on toolsy bats though. Springer or Mahtook maybe.
  10. Talent kind of thins out now a bit. Still plenty of great options though. Lindor is the best on the board imo.
  11. Another fantastic arm for Arizona. Bauer & Bradley is a fine pair.
  12. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 06:36 PM) They really need pitching now. I expect a run on it the next few rounds for them. They will pay the money for talent that falls. keithlaw keithlaw KC wanted a quick to the majors pitcher ... And those guys went 1-2-3-4 2 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply
  13. Washington and their fans have to be f***ing stoked.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 06:34 PM) Just made too much sense. Hosmer and Moustakas have the corners locked up for the forseeable future. Starling is a perfect fit. They really need pitching now. I expect a run on it the next few rounds for them. They will pay the money for talent that falls.
  15. Mayo says Rendon will be popped by the Nats.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 06:31 PM) We are so f***ing toast going forward. Maybe. Bubba still has to turn those tools into skills. If he does though...
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 06:28 PM) If they go position player I'd be shocked if it's not Starling. Good call. He wasn't Plan A, but it worked out nicely.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 06:28 PM) If they go position player I'd be shocked if it's not Starling. The pitchers they wanted are gone. Many of the other college arms are kind of a stretch. Has to be Rendon, Starling, or maybe Lindor.
  19. Cubs might get their original wish, and that is Bubba Starling.
  20. Law is guessing Rendon falls to Washington. I wonder if KC is tempted. They were really on pitching with this pick.
  21. Mayo says Orioles not on Rendon. Slide city. Wow.
