  1. Yea. I didn't realize Rushing wasn't a sure thing catcher.
  2. They have some interesting pieces but I think I largely prefer what the Orioles have to offer. If they are interested that is.
  3. The De Paula write up is pretty brutal on his Defense. Not sure that's what the new regime is looking for.
  4. Dodgers top 10 updated at Baseball America. For the non subs. https://www.baseballamerica.com/teams/2012-los-angeles-dodgers/prospects/?season=2024&ranking=preseason
  5. I loved Shuster at draft time and lost track after that. Can I still be hopeful?
  6. I'd also be worried that they aren't targeting rookies necessarily. Maybe just some established players with perhaps not tons of control left. I guess that shows that I'm of the opinion that they should just be rebuilding it at this point. Again.
  7. I don't know what to root for either. Even if the class isn't considered super strong at the top, having that large bonus pool is a huge boon. If you are good at identifying, drafting, and developing at least.
  8. Trying to compete with the players they get in return sounds scary. That sure narrows down the scope. Would rather them just look for best package available regardless of proximity to the majors.
  9. Wonder if Boston might be interested. Teel and Anthony are names to consider.
  10. I like this. Bradfield sure sounds like the type of player the current regime wants. Ugh. Can't get over the Gonzalez pick still. (Hope he proves me wrong.)
  11. Even the White Sox aren't that stupid. Why does this keep getting brought up?
  12. Tracks with all the other hires that have been made.
  13. As long as they are serious, bring no levity at all, and hopefully are a former player, the meatballs will be happy.
  14. If Gordon Beckham is brought in I'm back to only opponent's broadcasts. Just like when Hawk was around.
  15. Oof. This one hurts. Another reason to pay less attention to this s%*# team.
  16. Nope. He's going to the Cubs.
  17. Correct. If they pick in the top 6 this upcoming draft (via lottery), the highest they can pick in the 1st round the following year will be 11th. The Nationals are currently in this situation.
  18. Kinda surprised they didn't roll the dice on a bounceback and possible trade. It is what it is. I couldn't be more apathetic on what next year's team will be. All I know is it will dreadful.
