  1. When Abreu hit his home run, he didn't come close to finishing his swing, and it still went way out. Still trying to figure out the physics there.
  2. Marshall in the 8th, unless Rick wants to use him for the save.
  3. Will there be a Kanny roster next year?
  4. Jose and Yermin and Timmy are the three best hitters in the org.
  5. I love it when you analyze.
  6. I remember when Seaver was with the White Sox and really struggling to get to 300 wins, and he won both ends of a double header. Got him close, the rest is history.
  7. Jimmy, can you tell us about prospects in DR and Panama (Ben Bailey). What are they doing baseball - wise? I understand our US prospects are working out on their own and taking Zoom courses, etc. We have facilities in DR. Are they being used?
  8. Agreed. I would love to know one or two of the deals they turned down today.
  9. It looks like he makes the Eaton trade a clear winner, instead of just a good trade.
  10. I can just see a deal almost being done, and the opposing GM says Throw in Ben Bailey, and Hahn says Okay, why not.
  11. The Rangers are playing the Lynn deal the way they should. They are pitting the Twins and Sox against each other, as well as other suitors. I don't agree with your definition of "moron". There has to be a limit on overpayment.
  12. I can't believe Singer lasted until #18 in first round in 2018. Great stuff.
  13. Branch Rickey smiling from above.
  14. I hope Hahn figures out a way to keep Colome next year.
  15. You just can't have too many 35 year old center fielders who can't hit
  16. Same here. Giving up a boatload of prospects for Lynn is nuts. Get Dunning back on the roster, start him (if he is healthy, of course), and forget about Lance Lynn.
  17. Dunning due to be back on Sunday the 30th. Hope so. If so, another pitcher has to go.
  18. Bauer's salary this year is $17.5 Million, and he's having a good year. Plus there is probably loss of draft pick.
  19. Didn't this happen to Sox several years ago? We had a closer (can't remember name) who we got as FA from Yanks. He closed here for 3 years or so, then we traded him back to Yanks. Anyway, he came into game in a non=save situation and couldn't get anyone out. Ricky left him in, and he took the loss.
