  1. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 20, 2017 -> 07:00 PM) If the Sox were willing to try May they could just as easily try Engel. At least the defense will still be good. Leury has ran down some fly balls but has misplayed 2 I've seen that were rolling or bouncing. None of those guys are big leaguers. Makes no difference which one plays. Maybe when Tilson gets back it will be a little bit better.
  2. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 19, 2017 -> 05:32 PM) Asche and May can console each other in the airport bar. Make it a booth, need room for our SP.
  3. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 08:08 PM) Tim Anderson is very good, White Sox 1B are f***ing trash. Ball had a big tail on it. Tougher than it looked.
  4. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Apr 16, 2017 -> 07:03 PM) I'm surprised it wasn't May - he really looks like he needs minor league seasoning. He's already had that.
  5. If I were a Mod, I would close this thread.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 16, 2017 -> 12:18 PM) We're really DHing Yolmer SANCHEZ? Yikes. Anderson really needs to pull out of this funk. Benched today. Sophomore slump, pressure from big contract, whatever's going on... The little s__t got two, count 'em two, hits.
  7. Mitch Roman and Ian Hamilton. Both had great years last year as rookies, and both have gotten off to very hot starts this month.
  8. Rockies pitcher Jon Gray out 6 weeks or more with broken foot/toe. They need a starter.
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 14, 2017 -> 12:31 PM) This rebuild is going pitch perfect. So happy they went for it. Does that include Giolito's struggles?
  10. QUOTE (mataipaepae @ Apr 14, 2017 -> 02:28 PM) StI'll don't understand why race is pertanant? It's not. Get off it.
  11. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 13, 2017 -> 08:02 PM) Collins is no match for Winkelman Kyle Tucker no match for Easterling.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 13, 2017 -> 06:51 PM) Great job by Swarzak He is the Winning Pitcher if bullpen comes through.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 13, 2017 -> 06:03 PM) CF hitting for Sox is fun bad Tampa's Peter Bourjos just hit a homer vs Yanks.
  14. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Apr 12, 2017 -> 05:57 PM) Fulmer got dicked by his defense there. Groundball up the middle, the SS fielded it, but instead of throwing to 1st for the 3rd out, he tried to run to tag 2B. He slipped, then dove to the base and the runner beat him. So now it's bases loaded for Fulmer, and the next batter hits a towering drive to the RF wall and it appears to go off the RF's glove at the wall and all 3 runs score. All 3 SHOULD be unearned, because of either the SS or the RF, but both were ruled hits. Official Scorers are typically awful. There should be an "Official Scoring School" sponsored by MLBB. Instead, it looks like they get some hobo off the street corner to come in and get his 25 bucks for the night.
  15. Buster Freaking Olney just tweeted that Encarcion is pressing. He (Olney) gets paid for this stuff.
  16. I have the feeling that today's game is that dreaded "You better look good tonight, or it's bye-bye".
  17. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 08:33 AM) Different people in charge now though. Don't think so. Same GM at least. Jeff Bridich.
  18. QUOTE (beautox @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 12:03 AM) I'm hoping the Dbacks and Rox can keep the gas on and drive up the price of for Q. Tapia has started off the season on fire down at AAA, Rodgers is on the 7-day DL and hasn't started and Pint had a solid debut on the farm as well. Same here, but Rox will then try to make Hoffman the centerpiece of the Q trade. I don't like that. When Dahl and Desmond get off the DL, they should be interesting team to watch. Remember, Rockies made a horrible trade when they sent Tulo to Toronto, and all they have left is Hoffman. They got lucky when Story emerged as ML quality SS, but they still made a horrible deal. All I'm saying is, they might be gun shy to pull off a major trade, but they do have some interesting pieces.
  19. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 10, 2017 -> 09:51 AM) Delmonico was actually a real prospect before though. Who is the better hitter, right now, Delmonico or Frazier?
  20. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 8, 2017 -> 11:34 AM) Why? Good question. Rockies are asking same thing. He turns 36 next week, redefining the term "rebuild".
  21. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Apr 7, 2017 -> 06:48 PM) Hopefully Moncada and Frazier both hit. Trade Frazier, move Saladino to third with Moncada taking second. The arms, speed and range from the 3B/2B/SS positions would be awesome. Frazier currently 0 for 12. Don't hold your breath.
  22. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 6, 2017 -> 09:45 AM) Surprise, surprise. Lately, it seems like anyone with even the furthest ties to the White Sox isn't too great in his eyes. And any mediocre former Sox prospect, like Tatis Jr, is the next Trout. Jose, are you saying that IF the Sox had never traded Tatis, Jr, and IF he were still with the Sox, that Law would not have him ranked as high as he is now ranked?
